It's Dave Days, so it's supposed to be funny (parody). Don't get too excited about that song. It's better than Friday(not really a hard feat ), but it's not going to be nearly as big.

The problem nowadays is, it's incredibly difficult to distinguish parody from reality. Take the original video, it looks more like a parody than the parody one. Or take Fox news, are they for real or is it just the Onion trolling under a different name? You can't tell really!
