"Holyshit' will be when you ask yourself and other steam owners how much games from that list they: a) actually played b) actually enjoyed
Then do a simple match and calculate how much money you/they wasted. You probably could buy 2 GTX TITANS on these money or something.

You can do that math with food/cloth or anything else you ever spend money on.

Buy me two Titans and you can have my $6.5k Steam account. I mean, that's your logic right? An account that has been acquiring games over a period of *nine* years is ridiculous as I could have bought 2x Titans instead? Cool! You can have it ... hell, you can have my account for a SINGLE Titan. Go right ahead! I'll wait <3

Umm.. no, there is no logic at all in your implication. I was pointing at the fact these account are filled with useless games many of which never was ever installed, not mentioning played or played long enough. Following by logic - I couldn't care less about them. I'm pretty fine with my 20+ acc.

Why are you purchasing food and clothes that you don't eat/wear? This is beyond of understanding to me. Probably because I don't have enough free money to waste.

You can easily look at someone else and point out the unnecessary spending they are doing. I'm sure I could look at your expenses and do the same. Everyone has different priories, limits, reasons, points of view etc. Having said that, I a completely agree that having 30% or more games not played sounds ridiculous. However, In my defense, many of those games came with bundles, or I played them either on console or isodemo, and bought them to support the developer. Also most of these games can be bought super cheap, which at the time I thought was a good idea. Now, a year or two later, my taste changed and many of the titles I own simply don't interest me.

You don't get it. It's about the amount of money it's worth. Let's say you buy a bread and throw away the last two slices because they are too old. You could have bought 1/2 of the bread and didn't waste those slices. Now sum it up over a few years with all the food. Of course you are the only person that always eats up everything to the last bit, right? Because you are a poor person with a gaming computer and internet access.
Don't get me wrong, it's just the package size of most food that we are buying. Often it's just too much for a single person, but you buy it because the prize is good and the same applies to games in some kind. Prize seems good, even if you know you won't use everything of it, like Nerrd said when you are buying game bundles.

Bingo I'm a pirate, so odds are I've played pretty much my entire Steam catalogue, some indie bundles notwithstanding, at SOME point - and later bought the legitimate copy because, well, that's what I like doing

You can, by why would you do that in the thread where we discuss Steam games in this context? You don't go to Christian church to discuss Islam, even despite the fact it is a religion.

In my case 90% of all isodemo data will be old-console-based, NES/SNES/PS1-PS2/GC etc. Unfortunately, you can't legally purchase these consoles and its games anymore. Only if used.

Since last Summer, all I had before that was free Portal. I'd be surprised if I paid any more than 20% of the "Worth" they use current Steam prices for the list.

I think you meant Virgin, most vaginas do get used you know
Being a virgin isn't that exclusive in the gaming world as you might think

You could, still sealed up even. But most make the choice not to. Usually due to high prices.
