Have done it before, so have many others. I think the only real risk would be if you'd constantly be using VPN to cheat the system. So far I have not heard about anyone getting banned for that on this board. But hope others can shed some light on it as well. It's never risk free after all

I don't see how they could really - you could put up quite the fuss if they do...I mean, a person could completely take their laptop with them on a trip to another country and play their steam games there. I'd sure try it.

Valve doesn't ban for VPN, I personally asked about this to someone at Valve.

thanks guys, but I saw that is also an offer on my STEAM EU region on this game, so I bought it again and already activated, now I'm downloading the game. So there is no point to activate the US version with VPN. So now I really have this for sale for someone who really wants it thanks for responses guys. In the future I will try also with VPN
