So, which release works best (least problems)? Don't really care if all DLC is unlocked or not (unless it's bringing something really important, which I doubt).

Try closing your browser, happened the same to me and it helped... but it still crashes sometimes...

I never have my browser opened when i am playing a game..all other applications are also closed..except for fraps and evga percision..gonna try running the game as administrator now..any hints/ tips would be appreciated..because i also noticed, that there isn't any update available for RELOADED version yet Smile

On which version are you guys applying the v10 3DM crack ?..because i am trying to apply it on RELOADED version, and it only starts steam for me..and now i am looking all over the internet, and i can only find this version of 3DM..Assassins.Creed.IV.Black.Flag.Asia.Black.Chest.Edition-3DM..is this the correct one ?..should i download it and apply the crack to that version..or is it possible for v10 3DM crack to work with RELOADED ? Smile

Is there any way to get rid of that fucking glowing halo around the enemies when you target them ?

Because it's fucking annoying , ugly , and bring down the immersion by a notch for me...

it has been in every AC game if I recall correctly, so doubt it is possible...

Sorry bud, I haven't seen anything that would indicate highlighting can be toggled :\

The latest nV betas (331.93) have a much improved SLi profile for AC4 and now it runs 57-60 at all times (even in Havana) on these settings (oh and as you can tell, nV fixed the "black screen" issue on screenshots with SLi enabled)



Basically the only options not on highest would be AA and Shadows (not using either of the two Soft Shadows options) I'm very impressed the newest profile made such a difference - and the game is incredibly fun, I'm having more fun with this one than I did with any AC title so far.

It´s a shame they still haven´t solved the high temps issue Sad My first gpu reaches 80° sometimes having 75% gpu usage, ridiculous.

I haven't noticed any low-use-high-temp issues on my cards, they're both pretty much maxed out between 90-95% usage and both topped at 83c. I guess that's what happens when you don't have hardware to spare, they work as hard as they can grinhurt

my 680 topped up to 69°c last time but mostly with 60-90% usage haven't tried the latest drivers tho

Then be glad you never touched a 8800GT Very Happy ~90°C was like normal and combine it with a little layer of dust - guess 105°C was the record I've seen on that card, but then I ordered a new fan. Aaaahh that silence Smile

My galaxy 770gtx GC has only reached 75c and that was everything maxed out on COD ghost. AC:BF ive only hit temps in the high 60s in AC:BF

btw got AC:BF batman AO and splinter cell blacklist all free with it Razz paid $349(taxes included) this card rocks!!! idle TEMP for me is 28c....

best card and deal ever!!!

Soooooo I guess I'm done with the game. What a fantastic ride that was Very Happy


The Mayan armor looks preeeety kick-ass, if somehow out of place. Very Happy






It took me 45 hours to do absolutely everything. Smile





The longest AC game so far.



I really, really liked it. It is somewhat strange that you don't actually become an Assassin before completing like 90% of the game, but I actually didn't mind, since Edward's goal was always money, until you hit a certain part of the story.

Now I just have to play Adeline DLC (which is 30minutes- 1 hour I heard) and then wait for Adewale DLC. Very Happy

The main story wasn't that long although it was fairly varied (Although a few too many tailing missions but they weren't too repetitive thankfully.) but the secondary tasks such as the assassinations and naval contracts took a fair bit of time to complete (As did conquering the forts and the legendary ships.) not to mention scouring the sea for hidden treasures and collectibles.
(Though I usually never bother with collecting everything.)

The Abstergo hacking could have been better though, do one of three mini games thirty four times although the info that was given upon completing them was nice. Smile
(Don't understand the sticky note messages fully but I'm sure they have a meaning too.)

I think the cities have gotten smaller too albeit they are better detailed and more varied so it's not too bad as a tradeoff.

Aveline mission was interesting although not that good but it gave some extra background info.
(Apparently this section takes place after Liberation but there's no major spoilers.)


EDIT: I am looking forward to the upcoming Adewale story and the other two content packs, should be fun.
