I played the Bugbear Next Car Game demo with my 4 year old yesterday and he was loving it, I guess he's old enough now to play a proper handheld so I will give him a PSPGo to use

Are there any decent + easy racing games for the PSP? The only racer I ever played was Midnight Club on my PSP (way back when). They actually wouldn't even have to be about racing, he loved simply smashing into stuff

Personally I'm a huge fan of Ridge Racer, so Ridge Racers 2 is one of my favourites. Probably not the best for your son though as with most RR titles it may be an arcade racer but it relies heavily on drifting in order to race - he'll likely be smacking into walls a lot Very Happy Then there's Crash Tag Team Racing, of course, and the two Wipeout games (Pulse and Pure) as well as Gripshift, Gran Turismo and Outrun 2.

~edit~

Oh and I've also seen complaints of Burnout Legends hanging at the loading screen on the PSP Go, I'm not *personally* sure about any fixes I'm afraid as I've not played it myself - perhaps make sure it's an ISO and not CSO? The reports all say it's down to CSO compression causing it, so use UMDGen (or some other converter) and decompress back to ISO.

You're welcome Smile

Now if I can just get him to realise that not every screen is a touch screen, damn kids.

It's happening, it's finally happening! Remember that scene in BttF2? "You mean you have to use your hands? That's like a baby's toy!" -- we're at the generation now where everything is touch-screen and it's "you mean you have to push buttons? That's like a baby's toy" Laughing

There's a FlatOut game on the PSP. Then there's the LEGO games, which involve smashing blocks. Or the crash/ratchet/clank/daxter/jak platform games, they involve a bit of smashing here and there, and my nephews enjoy them even if some sections can get a bit difficult at times.
