fuck, it doesn't work for me.. i start the installation and it says error (first cd), both with DT 3.47 with all emulations on and alcohol 120%.... it says: "your system has not been modified, please re-run the installer to try again. Error: Data error (cycling redundancy check)."

Could you please do us all a favour and read the rules as well as the prior posts before you click that [Submit]-button?
Stop telling everyone what your downloadspeed is at, how fun torrents are and lucky you feel. Noone here cares so stick to discussing the game and the release. It's boring, it takes space, it takes bandwidth, it clutters the boards AND it's against the rules.
So all the new people who always seem to pop up when a game such as this is released, i hope you feel welcome here but dont make yourselves instantly at home (that is any of your other p2p-forums where you talk high and low about your sources and speeds).

Sorry mate, I do hate when people yells how fast are they downloading, but that was not my intent. I just wanted to report how is it going with that NOBODY release. That's it.

Confirm valid release; however, I'm getting a weird installation error messege at 99%
"Error: The filename, directory name, or volume lable syntax is incorrect."
Anyone else successfuly get it to work ?

I know dude but again, the rules clearly states you can not discuss that.

Error: The Filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
Please check your region and language settings.
This can be access through control panel => Region and Language options.
Click on the Advance tab. Check to see if your Language for non-Unicode programs is set to English (United States). If it is not please change it to English (United States). Your installation should be fine now.

no...at least not officially...i saw some post on the forums but that link has stopped working and someone from lionhead said they are still testing the patch to make sure it has no bugs. i think it was also said they will try to get it out by the 7th so maybe tomorrow?

Hope it's soon. Need to start over the game when it comes out so not worth playing it too much right now. Not that its all that great anyway. Seems rather tideous so far.

These beta drivers from nvidia were released recently for BW2. I was using 78.xx and had the same problem, but 81.84 rocks.

Wow.. I downloaded this release, now everything installed fine but when I try to run the game (with CD1 mounted), it tells me to insert the correct DVD-Rom, just like it has copy protection.
Now what the hell is this?
