So i looked around a little and couldn't really find any book corners.

What do you folks like to read? Any recommendations? What's the last book you read? How would you describe it?

I read absolutely loads of books, currently reading Mark Chadbourn and Bernard Cornwell again. What genre do you enjoy? Sci-Fi? Fantasy?

Also why is that thread in the useless void?

Grew up reading sci-fi, now i'm more into realistic fiction, mystery, dramas.

Read every book written by Markus Zusak and Carlos Ruiz Zafon in the past 2 months, the first Game of Thrones and also just got around reading A clockwork orange (I know.. i know )

Got any suggestions to similar books? I especially liked The Book Thief and I am the messenger.

Already went through that thread, got a few titles out of that, but it's mostly sci-fi. ^^

Why is it in the void anyway?

I'm not sure, it belongs in General and it's definitely not a "void" thread.. well, until the Stephenie Meyer Fangirl showed up

Read these Mark Chadbourn books (in order)

Age of Misrule
Always Forever (2001)
Darkest Hour (2000)
World’s End (1999)

The Dark Age
The Hounds of Avalon (2005)
The Queen of Sinister (2004)
The Devil in Green (2002)

Kingdom of the Serpent
Destoyer of Worlds (2009)
The Burning Man (2008)
Jack of Ravens (2006)

These are sort of mixture of fantasy/time travel, I absolutely loved them and have read all nine twice so far

Then read the Will Swyfte series

Swords of Albion

The Devil’s Looking Glass (2012)
The Scar-Crow Men (2011)
The Sword of Albion / The Silver Skull (2010)

These are sort of an Elizabethan spy/pirate/swashbuckling books, really good fun.

On a lighter note you can't go wrong with Terry Pratchett.
