I've had no issues with DDU. I've used it twice so far. Once when I wanted to make sure I had a very clean install and the other was about a week ago when I upgraded from a 680 to a 780. I have had issues in the past with DriverCleaner.net but I've not used that for years now. Don't be scared of using something new. You never know, it could be great. Could also be a nightmare but that's why I love PC's. Always something new to learn. Anyway back to my rant at EA.

So if you have setup file on the desktop, SHIFT+Right click on the desktop, open command line here, enter setup file name - like setup.exe and add /NOCANDY

My Computer / Uninstall or change a program and you see Microsoft .NET Framework 4 or 4.5 or 4.5.1 there (as only one of them is needed).
edit: oh and 4.5 comes with Win8 and 4.5.1 with Win8.1.

Well, I play BF4 on 8.1, would I still be able to replace .NET 4.5.1 with 4.5 if needed?

swapped my 6870 with a 660TI,replaced my 8gigs with 16 brand new modules and it still stops working after 1 map maximum.not sure what to do next,replace cpu?

And on driver clearing topic - I've used on many PCs DDU and no problem so far. I was using some time ago Driver Sweeper and Driver Fusion after, but DF was leaving some things behind and once it messed with framework on my PC and I couldn't get CCC for ATi working no matter what. So I recommend DDU for now.

I wish I was recording this. Snuck up on a sniper, started unloading m416 about 1 feet away (don't trust knives thanks to the counter knife), absolutely zero hitmarkers. By the time I spent my mag, he of course noticed someone was shooting behind him, I pulled out my pistol, same story, no hitmarkers. Then he proceeds to killing me. After he killed me he still had 100% health. I thought the guy was cheating or something but he went 9-4 that round and had ping in the 50s. Wtf game. I never had extreme cases like this where I unloaded 1 AR mag and 1 pistol mag into the same person without any hitmarkers. The guy wasn't even really moving.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Sounds like a heating issue if you are crashing at random times after that amount of playtime.
Or, are you crashing at the exact same point after the map?
Download SIW (probably several programs that are better) and monitor your temps with it.

iam done with dice - there is 0 support on pc
Game is almost 1 month old and we had 1 placebo patch. Best way to deal with tons of players who actually bought the game and premium.
Team Fortress was released 2007 and it still gets updates (in a week more than bf3 ever had)

I doubt that heating is an issue here,it's just one of these "Just in Battlefield4 TM" features.
Cpu temp never goes above 55c and the map/spot on the map doesn't matter at all,if the game decides that i played enough,it crashes with the "bf4.exe has stopped working" message (and a soundloop on top of that).
All my drivers are up-to-date,games like ArmA 2+3 run flawless and do not crash at all during regular playsessions,tons of other games run without crashing too.
The error is hardly on my side here
