So I tried it on PS3 and the game is graphically OK for PS360 but far from these next gen videos obviously.
It runs at a constant 30fps it seems.
I find it quite boring offline though, I think the whole point of this game is multiplayer... These sandbox games barely have any story or purpose to play offline...
The PS4 version got good reviews, so it can't be that bad !

Its not totally terrible, it just so dull. I played the two tutorials and that was enough. The aliasing is pretty bad also. Some people may well like it I suppose

I actually have been enjoying the hell out of this game. I understand where all of the hate comes from, but doesn't being so jaded take the fun out of gaming?
(of course, I did get the game for free so I suppose that's why I'm not pissed about it)
I'll just be happy once my Xbox gets here tomorrow so I can play Forza 5 (and it'd better have split-screen multiplayer so me and my new girlfriend can get into our first fight).
Hobo Zombie: TRAAAAAAAIIIINNNNNNSSSSSS
Woman Zombie: COMPLAAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNNSSSSS
Englishmen Zombie: REFRAAAAAAAAAIIIIIINNNNNSSSSS
Thanks for the idea Lutz!

This.
Although Rivals is good action fun (fuck those spongy controls though, daaaamn), I played Horizon right after it, had so much pleasure I wasted an hour into it again |
It's still a dream to play isn't it. <3 me some Horizon I'm gonna go play it some today. |
Aye, like harry_theone after playing NFS R the first thing I did was jump into Horizon and played for ~1hr. Damn that games is such a smooth experience!

Wouldn't go that far. NFS's 2011 HP was a really good game (Forza Horizon borrows from it) it played great and it looked great on the x360 so I assume it looked even better on the PC.
Also wasn't SHIFT really popular with the PC sim fans?

neither of those games car models and details were up to even forza 3 standards, so nope
nfshp10 dunno any 11 did not support aa and the only thing that looked decent were surroundings, it still looked better than abysmal rivals, on consoles that is
shift looked good but driving was too floaty and ai were stupid as hell, never got fixed, on pc of course

I'm having quite a bit of fun with this. I didn't expect to to be this much better than 2012's Most Wanted. It isn't without its flaws though.
Things I like:
The whole 'races colliding' thing, it's sort of.. online-only done right (Can't believe I just said that)
Plenty of scenery changes, snowy areas, desert, city, forests..
Drives like burnout, feels great for an arcade racer
Things I'd Change:
Skip intros
Add some sort of performance upgrades for cop cars
Moar cars, I genuinely like driving around in Fiestas and Mazda2s.. Everything in the game is high end (well, except Dodge/Chevy, lololol)
Overall though, considering I only grabbed this an AC4, I'm pretty happy, I think both will keep me busy through to xmas... and then I'll finally get around to playing BG2EE.
