it's not a placebo. I have tb forced for every game with vsync on.
It helps with vsync drops and helps reduce lag

Any way to get easy money fast? (without cheats and fleet obviously)
Aside from finding treasures and looting chests.. Pirating doesn't seem to be lucrative atm.( I've just got my very own island as a base.)

2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Well, there are a variety of reasons for all of this, but I'll just spell out the effect it has on Assassin's Creed 4.
Without triple buffering on, pretty much wherever I look the game drops to 30fps and stays there. With triple buffering on, the game runs at about 58-60fps, dropping to the high 40s occasionally.
So essentially it's a 30fps difference in most scenes.
To force triple buffering on in a DirectX game though you'll need something like D3Doverrider. The setting in the nvidia console only works on OpenGL games.

Aye, legit version direct from Uplay - finished downloading a couple hours back but I've been busy with other stuff, only just now got around to playing. If I turned off soft shadows and put it back to "high" and set "environment detail" to "high" as well, this would be a solid 60 - even at 1080. I can't take any screenshots though.. FRAPS and Uplay both take black-screen images and prntscrn only copies what's on the desktop, not in game.
Curious.
~edit~
SLi scaling is near perfect too, 80-95% on both cards, something else drastically improved from the Chinese copy - and, again, not using the 331.82 drivers. I'm still on 331.65.

I had to force Triple Buffering in AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations - none of them allowed any framerate between 31 and 59.
This was fixed in AC3, so d3doverrider was not needed for that game.
ACIV seems to be a step back in that regard

I think that with this game it will be the first time I pass on Vsync.
I just can't get steady 60fps with my 680GTX unless everything is set to low...
Usually it's one or two effects which cause dips, but with this game it seems different.

I thought the map automatically showing chests and Abstergo icons was part of the cheat DLC (called Time Saver or something) unlocked by the 3DM version. But I just installed the Reloaded version (which I thought didn't have any DLC activated) and it has the same shit.
So that's just how the game is? No real exploration/searching at all?
I don't remember how the other AC's were (never played much of the third one) but didn't you have to buy in-game maps to reveal those things?

the icons are revealed if you synchronize from a viewpoint and only in the area of the viewpoint...the problem before the 3DM crack V9 was the icons were revealed even without synchronizing

Oh I see. I thought synchronize points were just to mark key locations like shops and things like that. I should have just stuck with the 3DM version then, since it had the Aveline (sp) DLC.
Are there additional hidden objects/activities, like in AC2 where you had to find some computer code on the side of a building and enter a mini-puzzle game?

might be because reloaded crack uses - offline paramer by default , 3DM one acts like "online"

What's with adding ships to the fleet? Is that for multiplayer? If so, what does the fleet do in Multiplayer? Is it like deathmatch or something?
Also, can I use my y'ar versions saves with a legit copy? Will they copy over correctly and work?

Ah, this I'm interested in too.
Im playing atm with 3dmv 3 crack
Although I have to say every time I log into uplay with every intention to buy AC4 deluxe edition , online only fleet mechanic instantly comes to mind and I log off with disgust.
