There is no v8 yet. v7 crack is almost perfect. It works fine. Saves progress and everything and unlocks dlc's, but it also unlocks "Time Saving DLC" This crap unlock some parts of the map and reveal things that you can do alone. Its cheat dlc so hopefully next versions will have switches for it in the .ini. Otherwise crack works fine and unlocks all dlc.

They don't show up on the map simply said lol.

Or do they come later in the game?

They do show up on the map. I assume they appear after a later sequence.

Just finished with v3 crack. Had almost no problems. Only to reload twice, that was it.

Stop being so fucking backwards, they were also openly accepting blacks and other races in their pirate republic, they even said so in the game.

I know the game is honestly shit, when it comes to story, but they do say, a couple of times that Nassau is supposed to be a free republic, for all men and women alike. Have you even gotten to the part where Adewale asks Edward if he's getting into slavery? Edward was appalled he was asked such a thing. Thus why accepting a female as a pirate would not be far fetched. Also, look up Anne Bonny and Mary Read.

Quote:
System Requirements

Ubisoft’s system requirements for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag scale well across a wide range of DirectX 9, DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 configurations, enabling players with older systems to enjoy the game. For best results, equip your system with a Quad Core CPU and a DirectX 11 GPU.

Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista SP or Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8 (both 32/64bit versions)
Processor: Intel Core2Quad Q8400 @ 2.6 GHz or AMD Athlon II X4 620 @ 2.6 GHz
Memory: 2GB for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (512MB VRAM with Shader Model 4.0 or higher)
DirectX: 9
Hard Drive Space: 30GB

Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8 (both 32/64bit versions)
Processor: Intel Core i5 2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 940 @ 3.0 GHz or better
Memory: 4GB RAM or more
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 (1024MB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0) or better
DirectX: 11
Hard Drive Space: 30GB

Upcoming patches:
1. Actual, advanced PhysX (Particle Shadow Mapping (PSM), etc)
2. "A forthcoming game update will further improve the fidelity of PCSS-enhanced shadows, increasing image quality by an even greater extent."

Power users wanting the ultimate level of image quality should investigate the possibility of forcibly enabling MSAA and Transparency Multisampling or Supersampling via NVIDIA Inspector. With AA disabled in-game, textures will appear without softening, highlighting the fine detail on Kenway’s flower-patterned tunic, for instance. Unfortunately we haven’t had the time to investigate such a solution, so if you do discover a working profile please let us know via the Disqus comments and we’ll share the solution with all Assassin’s Creed IV PC players.

Power users will need substantial hardware if they're going to force all that stuff though Very Happy

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is also packed with some PC features that aim to put high-end GPUs to their knees. The PC version supports Godrays, PCSS shadows, TXAA and HBAO+. Godrays, ambient occlusion, shadow quality and TXAA bring an enormous performance hit, so we highly recommend lowering or disabling them if you own weaker cards. A single GTX 680 was unable to run the game with max settings at more than 40fps. In order to hit the 60fps mark on scenes where we were not CPU limited, we had to completely disable ambient occlusion, set Godrays to low, shadow quality to very high (no soft shadows) and set SMAA for our anti-aliasing solution.

By enabling soft shadows (on high) and SSAO, we could hit the 50fps mark. By enabling everything (plus TXAA 4x) we could run the game at 35fps. Ironically, our simulated GTX680 was never maxed out, meaning that either Nvidia will have to tweak the game’s profile or Ubisoft to somehow fix this mess with a new update. SLI scaling was good, as the aforementioned scene was running with 60fps on our GTX690 with all its bells and whistles enabled.

With the addition of HBAO+, PCSS, DirectX 11 Tessellated God Rays, TXAA, and SLI support with near-perfect scaling, NVIDIA and Ubisoft have created the definitive version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Working in tandem with higher-resolution assets, the PC version's image quality is unmatched. Attaining this level of detail is no mean feat, however: in our pre-release build, which lacks the launch-day patch, a GeForce GTX 780 Ti was still some way from maxing the game out, having to drop from 4x TXAA to 2x MSAA to maintain 40 frames per second at all times. In future updates, both PCSS and DirectX 11 Tessellated God Rays will be further optimized, and should overall performance improve we shall of course update our conclusions, our Optimal Playable Settings chart, and our GeForce Experience recommendations.

Below the level of a GeForce GTX 780 Ti, an excellent experience can still be had. Lowering Environment Quality, God Rays, Shadows, Reflections and Anti-Aliasing a notch results in only minor image quality changes, which most players will be unable to notice during action-packed gameplay. These small changes enable GPUs down to the GeForce GTX 680 to enjoy an essentially-identical experience with smooth, responsive frame rates.

Pffft ahahahahah.

Question is: where is this all power goes into if the final image quality is still quite mediocre?

"A single GTX 680 was unable to run the game with max settings at more than 40fps."

Of course a single 680 is not going to max the game. AC3 was as heavy as AC4 and it also looked as great and required more than a single 680 to max it. Some people make me laugh, seriously. The game is well optimized in my opinion, plus i can´t vouch for that performance analysis since it was not the final version of the game and they didnt have the new drivers, which solve the low gpu usage issue.
