*whistle* 34.9GB install size Does anyone know what the PC one is?
Afaik, 25 GB, on my HDD shows as 24,8 GB, without the coming DLC counted in (BF3 grew into 34 GB after the whole Premium stuff), I think 34,9 GB is magic sorcery
the most important thing, that df had and ign didnt, is the framerate counter.
if you dont make a 60 fps flash video, then you need to have the counter atleast, otherwise its bullshit.
Does anyone know if Polish language (dubbing and subtitles) are in IMARS release ? My friend wants me to burn it for him

Well I hate wowhd. They put my order in 'backorder' as it is clearly out of stock so now Im cancelling. Id much rather have a game ASAP than pay a cheaper price and wait weeks for it to turn up!
Well after 24 hours on the fence Ive finally hopped over and purchased it for PS4. I read the single player is weak and 4-5 hours but the multiiplayer is awesome if it doesnt crash! I have no expectations of the game but if it crashes too much, Ill wait for a patch or trade it in.
Whilst trawling through Youtube videos I came across this Angry Joe rant which had me choking with laughter. Ok he was talking about the PC version but the crashing is across all platforms from what I have read ...
Played this at weekend on brothers PS4 and it does look very blurry? 900p upscaled to 1080p combined with FXAA? Not really kind combo even on 27" Full HD screen. Can only imagine how shitty it looks on big HDTV. Also man it looks horrible when there is constantly FPS drops from solid 60 to lets say around 30s (would have been better really to put just solid 30-40fps).
I had been playing this on PC in Ultra 1440p and on PS4 on my 46" TV and I was surprised to see it looks really good on PS4 actually. If i hadn't known about 900p I would have thought about it being 1080p.
But that's probably cuz I play it from the couch (R) so it's hard for me to see aliasing.
I'm not sure it uses FXAA does it ? I tried to look closely on the screen (yeah I had to stand up from my couch) and thought it didn't look as blurry as the PC version does in 900p + FXAA (which looks terrible compared to the PS4 version).
I actually mostly play it on PC in 1080p because my iMac isn't powerful enough to maintain 60fps in 1440p and I thought it looked blurrier in 1080p on my 27" than the PS4 version on my 46" TV. As if they were using a better filtering/AA effect...

but yeah usually nextgen games look better on big screens with lower resolution, pixel density
for some still looks like shit but if u have cyclonefr 46" screen and his eyes it will look good
blurry? the game is crystal clear on the ps4 and never dipped below 60 for me. its a gorgeous game and enjoyed it more than the pc version (seeing as my pc was unable to run ultra at 60 with no drops)
i also think the single player was a big step up from battlefield 3, but still seemed MAJOR rushed, and i beat it in one sitting it had to be no longer than 5 hours, wtf. but it was fun experience! back to multi

Have you had any issues with crashing? Single player or multiplayer? I guess you werent affected by the lost save data if you beat the campaign in a single sitting?

game runs 50-60fps 95% of the time, with only a few occasion of dropping below 50, haven't seen it reach 30s as per Derpeezers claim
pretty impressive for a launch title. 360/ps3 launch titles performed a lot worse.
yea the performances are mighty impressive for launch games, unlike boner“s 18 fps in dr3
last gen consoles had most of their launch games running in sub-30 fps, mostly around 25-28, which is fucking unacceptable.

funny you should ask that, i played just multiplayer the first week the ps4 came out and was crashing like every 4 maps, it was driving me crazy, all of a sudden i have been getting no mp crashes since then, not 1, i dont know if EA/dice did something but it certainty seemed more stable after launch week.
as for the single player as soon as i started it i got a infuriating call from my brother who had gotten to the last level and got courrpted save data out of no where.
I had no idea about this bug going around so i looked it up online and was horrified how many people it was happening too, i told me brother i was prob going to hold off on single player till a patch, but then i noticed the save to cloud option in the ps4 system menu, and decided after every level i would upload my save to the cloud.
yes its a little annoying because u have to close BF4, but it honestly takes around 2 mins tops till your back in the game playing again (thanks to the ps4s blazing fast OS, im loving how quick and simple it is.) but honestly i didnt need to, the game never crashed once or bugged out. i guess i got lucky cuz it seems like its happening to everyone. so if you count me closing BF4 after every level its kinda like i did multiple playthroughs and not in one sitting. yay for me!
oh and 1 more thing, the game is a disgrace to the "hard" difficulty setting, hard should literally be called very easy mode, u can litteraly stand without cover with 10 guys in front of u shooting and it will take a good 10 seconds till your down, pathetic.

Thanks for that!
Dice have apparently patched the game since launch which may explain why you had issues and now dont have as many.
I heard issues occur if you switch between single player and multiplayer and vice versa but saving to the Cloud after every missions sounds like good advice!
I think I will try and complete the campaign in a single sitting today and give multiplayer a go. Ill post back if I have any issues or not
