Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the pc and GTA San Andreas for the ps2 (Who's got time to wait like 9 months?? Smile)
The only game i've ever bought that wasn't really worth the money was Manhunt for the ps2. Liked it quite a lot, but not worth the money

I kind of buy most of my games and only down them to try them out. For me the last game I bought was Burnout Legends. Although I expected more of it, it's certainly good fun and addicting.

I bought Driver from a bargain bin several years ago. Oh ... and I got Star Wars: Episode 1: Racer from a garage sale about the same time.

Before that ... maybe some Sierra games -- I remember buying King's Quest V & VI, Space Quest IV, Police Quest III, Conquests of the Longbow, etc. Those were the days ...

Nothing recent comes to mind ...

Last bought games were

Call of Duty: United Offensive - picked it up from states for $15. Worth every penny, err cent even.

Tales of Symphonia (Gamecube) - cost £37. Good game. Worth the money

Metroid Prime 2 - £16. Still in its wrapper but if I ever play it I'm sure it'll be worth the cash.

Last 2 games I bought that I consider to have been worth the cash, and I feel will have some longevity are:
Half-Life 2 (mainly for CSS and DoDS)
Live For Speed S2

Both are online multiplayer, both are reasonably cheap, and both will hold their value and playtime for the next 12 months easy.

Look at how long CS 1.6 lasted Smile

dont argue that, it just pissed me off that they sold me a half finished game. What are the beta tests for? Why do users have to let them know where the problems are?
example: When i played it the first time, I got injury after injury after injury. It came to that point that I could fill my squad, not enough players!!!! Just dont tell me that it was the practise schedule or whatever. I play FM/DM since cm92/93 i think and pretty much know the things how you set up a practice schedule. The injuries even happened when I let the assistant take over the practice. but what the hell, I just dl fm2006 first and see how buggy it is this time....

Last game i bought was WoW.. Worth every EUR tbh. WoW is actually saving me money because I don't have a social life anymore so I don't have to go to these fancy clubs or buy expensive couture clothes.. TakeAway Pizza and Blackwing Lair guild raids have replaced my old luxurious lifestyle Smile

bought WoW, traded the account for a guidlwars account after the 30 day trial. If only all MMOs followed this example.

does buying keys count as a game. I bought a HL2 key for $8 and consider meself lucky, it was a silver account.
