So I have a JTAG, and half of the time i can play without fatal exception errors  Its nearly time for new gen so fuck it
ANYWAY, I have lots of God games, ripped via iso2god. When I browse my games in the menu they don't have as much as the icon for the game, just the name. There is no photo, no description, no nothing.
I've never put the console online as i couldn't see the point, but I was wondering - if I did, would the Xbox automatically download all of the graphics, backround sounds, etc so that my God games look nice and pretty?

Yes delete the FSD cache and assign path again it will get things for you

The NXE dash doesn't have icons or covers when offline.

and there is no way to get them? i NEED a gold account? The console is banned, if i plug it in and attempt to connect to live, I assume it'll just kick me off and not download them.

No live no covers. There's no Microsoft offline love. I read some time ago, even when you have a live account when you go offline the covers are gone. It's a100% online thing.

Old thread I know, but just don't understand how this thread ended. You dont need Live at all to download covers and metadata in FSD. Just a working Internet connection. Or am I misunderstanding something with your question?
Edit - I thought you were using FSD...
