A couple more things to mention here:
There seems to be a VERY slight issue (I mean, I only noticed it a couple of times) with the z-buffering. When you have a bunch of fields of grass on top of eachother, there's some obvious fighting between stalks. It's not that big of a problem, but I'm noticing it happening ever so slightly every once in a while with other, random things. Like a tiny black splotched happened once and I don't know why. Basically, the engine isn't 100% perfect, but the occurances are so low that it's quite forgivable.
Another thing is that there are a bunch of slight details that are impossible to show in screenshot w/o emphasizing them (which I don't feel like doing). There's a crapton of particle effects everywhere that really add a wild feeling of Godliness to the game. Also, the tooltips work the way they do in The Movies. You see some details, then more details pop out a second later, and then even more detailed details another second later. So you can first glance at pertinent information, then stay a while to get the really gritty stats. This is a major help because now you can actually see exactly how good/evil you are and what you are doing to help you go either way. Long gone are the days of not knowing what the hell is going on.

i actually played the game this morning pre ordered it and the game rocks big time in every way itsa much better then the first game and i see it popped up here only in a few hours:)

Seriously, even if someone was dumber than supermax here, he wouldnt miss the rules of this forum. No need to do that, really. O_O

Ragnarok's down, BW2's not out, I finished all the games I got on my hard drive and I'm sick and tired of GW already. Nothing left to do, and I'm pointlessly sitting and waiting for this game to come out for the past 3-4 hours. What a total waste of time...
Where can I read more about that fuss about corrupt CDs?

Searched the lionhead forums and found 2 posts, one about sintax error and one about catastrophic failure?? error(with screenshot), both during setup. Seems a new protection to me, no starforce anyway, that should pop up if it detects a bad disk.
edit, this is the error message people are complaining about:
Black & White 2 has failed to install.
Your system has not been modified.
Please re-run the installer to try again.
Error: Data error (cycle redundancy check).

I'd suggest you do all the tutorials in any game, really, as there's always the possibility of you missing one small thing and not using it for the entire game. I've had it happen before, seriously.
