Why don't you wait for Google Nexus 5? Should be out soonish? I think I read cheapest variant will cost $349.

nexus4 is not bad but little dated now. And battery is just bad.
Xperia L isnt bad but way behind xperia SP.

I gotta say, dat nexus 5 looks and sounds sexeh, but I don't think it will be available here this year. Nexus 4 and 7 took a few months after release to be available here, so I assume it will be the same with 5. And besides, retailers here have a bad habit of overpricing everything in the first 3 months, so that goes over my budget, even if I could scrap an extra 100 euros.
On the other hand, nexus 4's price might go down pretty fast if 5 comes out during the next months. But I don't want to wait a couple of months until that happens.
KillerCrocker, yeah, I heard that about the Xperia. Guess that's off the list.

All listed phones are crap. Especially Lumia. Any Lumia. And any Windows Phone.
Any Xperia is crap because battery lasts half a day in standby mode. Less if you try to use it. Any model.
Best advice is to wait for Nexus 5 or get Nexus 4 if you need the phone nao

Just ordered my Nexus 5. The specs are fantastic for the price (at least here in the UK, in the US its insanely cheap). The only real downside is the battery.
