Fuck this shit is pissing me off. Performance problems aside I keep getting killed by an enemy before I can see him. Was sitting in a corner, strategically protecting it, all of a sudden im getting hit, when I die, I see an enemy right in front of me that wasnt there while I was heroically protecting this important corner. Wtf is this shit. I also noticed shooting people with higher pings is problematic. I think I got 5-6 hit markers on a guy, friendly finished him off and I get 21 assist points.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.
I have no problems, runs fine on 2 separate computers(older one and a newer one)... some servers rubber band, but I just change servers and all is fine.
I did notice on the older one, it took freakin ages to load.
On my new SSD, it loads up in about 20 seconds... usually before other people join.
I have it all running on ULTRA, i7 Haswell, 16GB ram and a 280x and the game runs silky smooth.
I still think my CPU usage is higher then it needs to be. On most of the maps my CPU is at 100% all the time and that was the same in Windows 8. I'll try that core unparking thingy to see if it works.
I noticed the beta map (Shanghai) sees more CPU usage than the others. On that one I get nearly constant 90-95%, in most other maps it fluctuates more and it's in average around 80-90%.

Same shit with me...its like enemies come out of nowhere...plus the graphics are amazing really but ffs with all the effects dirt, paper, leafs, sun glare, rain I can fucking barely spot an enemy with all this shit happaning at once on screen...seriously I think il go from ultra to low just to be able to recognize enemies.
Yeah, I had that problem too. In the beginning I hard a hard time seeing and spotting enemies, but now I'm used too it. Same goes with the ADS sensitivity, it was way too high for me in the beginning compared to my normal sensitivity, but I'm used that aswell now. Though, it would be nice if they could implement a slider for ADS Sensitivity.
I got no movement delay. I trust you're not referring to the natural delay there is now before you start effectively running, they implemented it now so that you need to gain momentum before running. A fine addition if you ask me.
Now, occasionally I've experienced delay when trying to enter a vehicle, it's been kinda annoying when it happened.
No, not that... it's like when I push W i don't move for about a second.. then I start moving... and I release W and I'm still moving... it's as if the server just doesn't receive my movement commands immediately. It's like that at the start of every map, and most times after I'm killed... it seems to be not a common issue then....
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I did this nearly a week ago and i was pretty astonished at the differences in performance... Hadn't changed any other settings prior to this change either so it was definately that.
Game is playable as a result now... just the hit detection and rubber banding which are all server side screwups which are preventing the game from its full potential imho.

Seems to be a fair few saying this has helped them. Maybe the people who tried it and it didn't help haven't posted.
I'll see what it does tomorrow. I do have NvStreamSvc errors around every time BF4 crashed in my event log.
Didn't help, BF4 crashed on the 3rd game.
Well I abandoned my plans anyway, as it seems something in my system died. Ran Memtest, got an error within like 3 seconds
Now I just need to verify whether it's the memory itself or the IMC in my CPU, or perhaps even my motherboard. I suspect my CPU, as lowering my overclock stopped Batman from crashing yesterday

That's not good, now we lost another Humper on the field
Playing some BF3 made me appreciate the few hours I spent playing Battlefield 4 beta, because BF3 is a fucking horrendous shooter.
Fun combined arms game where you can do all kinds of crazy shit and have fun with your friends, but as a shooter? Awful.
I don't know what the retail version is like because I won't be buying until next year, but the shooting mechanics in the beta put BF3 to shame, I couldn't play BF3 for more than 5 minutes because of how shitty it felt compared to the beta.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
