yeah it is a tad overly harsh. i am going to try to go into the game with an open mind. lionhead has dissapointed before(actually alot since the collapse of bullfrog) and i thought black and white 1 was more of a sandbox than a game demonstrating some good ai but falling short of having any sense of accomplishment. but anyways i will try this one and see if i enjoy it. besides the obvious(the gfx) the battles look very interesting as does the base building aspect, and if at least those aspects are satisfying enough i might change my opinion of lionhead for the better.

i guess it's harsh because B&W is a much more innovative game than my favorite scapegoat, Doom 3.
B&W is just not for everyone... While the mainstream audience seems to adore a pointless, plotless dungeon crawl.

I for one loved B&W1, it was new, it was original, it had it all. At that time! Not now of course, but back then it was Incredible to view a 15 meter cow walk up to a house and kick it with full demolition physics, or throwing heated boulders into an enemy village and also viewing the buildings collapse with real physics, something which had never ever been done before.
Lionhead rocks.

I went and looked at the thing on fileplanet. It doesnt even make a hint to being anything about black and white 2 except that there is a picture of a wolf. The picture of the wolf doesn't fit with black and white 2's style either.

well it has nothing to do with being delayed....
It will be the protection on it.. if some people have got there copy then you would expect the groups would have had it by now..

Yeah there might have been a few shipments delayed to a store here and there but the way games are distributed its impossible for every single game not to arrive on stores shelves by the ship date because of some foul up at the last moment. anyways the groups have probably already got their advance copies days ago and still working on the protection. just hopefully they will get it out to us tomorrow sometime, or else a working clone..i dont care which personally.

Some new Nvidia drivers that fixes a lot of things with Black and white, actually they are good drivers overall. Released for xp32 and xp64.

Well, I haven't seen anything on my sources yet and Im currently browsing.
I don't see how this can be a PROPER repack as I havent seen an initial release. However, they're could be an internal release I havent come across yet that is messed, and this is the public (so to speak) repacked, proper release
Im hoping ur on to something but I suspect its a fake.
All the kiddies who download some lame trojan (and think they are big time hackers) always create fake files of big releases in an attempt to spread their shit. I suspect u saw it on a torrent or p2p site, if so, its prolly 100% fake. |
