so i was out last night, had some extasy (yeah sometimes i take them, i'm neither proud or ashamed, it's who i am and what i do). Anyway, had an awesome night, dancing etc. and came home and then you slowly realize ...
that you probably took more amphetamine/speed with those e!'s then mdma. And you are awake. REALLY awake. Not high or anything. Just as awake as can be. And you know you won't sleep for another 12 hours or so lol.
first world problems .. bah.

I'm not sure extasy is such a good idea after 30y+ . I mean doesnt it stress your heart like crazy? I would probably have nervous panic attacks.

i'm kinda lucky with that. I.e. i am (no secret there) quite overweight, BUT i have no problems usually associated with it. I do a annual checkup and my stats are above perfect (my doc told me, if he shows these stats to someone who doesn't know me, he would think i am an athlete). Strong heart, no cholesterol , no sugar, liver perfect, etc.
I know i am lucky. I used to abuse heavily on drugs in my teens (daily basis). Now, i am reduced to very small doses (in comparison) only at weekends (not every, since i work most of them). During the week/inbetween taking drugs, i don't drink, take anything, and don't even smoke. Seems to be working quite well 
But yeah, it's a lot of luck with my genetics hehe. I remember once i took a xray of my chest and they asked me if i smoke (i smoked like 15 years at that point) and they said there are rarely any signs of it at all. it's like my lungs are cleaning themselves hehe.
Always been lucky with that i guess. i was always overweight, but i did a lot of sport none the less. Even on a national competitive level etc.
And today, the work i do implies a lot of walking etc and it doesn't bothers me the slightest.

Don't gamble on your health though. One day you suddenly get diabetes type 2 or chronic high blood pressure or need to take statins (against raised cholesterol). It can come fast and suddenly, esp. if you're doing drugs that are straining on your body. Using stimulants is a ticket to messing up the serotonin/dopamine/noradrenaline signal substance balance which leads to mood disorders (anxiety, depression etc.) as I am sure you've known for decades (no idea how old you are).

amfetamine works for like 7 hours. Just never switch to cocaine!
A pill with mdma works for like 5 hours. Just keep that in the back of your head.

only drug Id do is LSD, but only with some sober dude watching out if I get a bad trip. Others seem just too bad for your health.

i kinda found a good balance. During the week, i don't drink, don't do any drugs and hardly smoke cigarettes (when at all). Also i work most weekend nights, so i kinda have limited time there only, too. And i also try to keep the doses i take small enough, so it won't cause a big problem, either. I'm 33 now and so far, so good. I do regular check ups (at least once a year for general check up and blood tests) at the doctor and all (yes all) my values are in the green. No issues anywhere.
