the sensation of speed is a little higher than wrc3
Good.

GOOD.

tires are more prone to spin when you accelerate
I'm getting scared now..another improvement?

the various surfaces i tried felt awesome
That's it.
Ixi, DR, whoever else is up for it: we need some MP sessions of this again if all that is correct, because that would mean they improved everything the last one was a bit lacklustre on, and we had lots of fun there already
No, it will never be RBR, but CMR it already practically was; if those changes are all correct then that really does make it CMR.

yeah it feels very good, the tire spin while accelerating is hard to describe, think gravel and a powerful engine, max throttle while cornering and you are skidding but also the engine is revving like mad
dont know to descibe it better, so you basicly have to control the throttle a bit more to keep the grip and adjust how much you skid, so you can force it through a corner with the throttle, like in real life
I'm really surprised to see Milestone go: "No, what we did with WRC3 wasn't good enough. We'll make it better!!!". I have no idea what happens in that company, but it sure is good. They went from the horrific first game to something really damn good and nobody expected it. They are strange, haha... Sure, I'll play again, as long as it works without buying it, that is.

Sparrow version or the legit one? Cheapest wat to buy it?

And yeah DR, it is ridiculous to see this franchise suddenly become what Codemasters should've kept CMR at. Last year's game was definitely enjoyable, much better than Ken HURRRRKHANA. At least CM have dropped Colin's name off those games now.
I'm definitely going to ISO demo this first though, because I remember some serious issues with my 360 pad (think it didn't use XInput, so triggers were a single axis).

Sure, count me in for some Rally action!
@Dimas: aww, that's true. All the Milestone games so far have been using integrated Gamespy (including the recent MotoGP 2013) which doesn't need any serial, only the nickname + password.
Here's hoping that the Steam version still retains the classic "free" MP mode, it's our only way since I'm broke at the moment.
edit: related, the History of Rally Games
Nice nostalgic video (and yes, they keep getting worse)

I only played mobil 1 rally championship a lot, best rally game ever. A shame it didn't get a sequel. Most rally games are arcade racers unfortunately.
Can be disabled (well, set to 0). Hate that concept, so it was one of the first things I did.
Seems pretty decent. Just had a quick race, driving assists off, ABS setting on. Frame-rate felt a little off at times, with 2xAA at 1920x1080. It's fun - moreso than any of the Dirt games - and reminds me a lot of CMR.
Edit:
Quite sparse with the graphics options - the only ones I can see are in the launcher: Resolution, Refresh Rate, FSAA (2x and 4x), V-Sync, Windowed Mode, and Triple Monitor.

So??? Master Werelds??? any comments on the iso demo?
