It does for EU and US territories, but it unlocks a few hours earlier in Asia and Australia.

It is the 25th now in New Zealand and a lot of Asian/Oceania countries so it's officially unlocked on the 25th Are US citizens trapped in a massive bubble like in Under the Dome? Gotta get out more and see the whole world not just your "world"

I barely know any of the timezones other than some of the GMT based ones from England, here it's mid afternoon now or what to call it. Smile

(We're GMT+2 or some such I think, I tend to get that wrong too.)

At least it's better than the game unlocking at midnight or ~19.00 evening as is very usual when it comes to Steam and there's a global release time.
(Though it's actually getting a bit uncommon with early releases other than the Tuesday US time and Friday EU time, unsure how to describe that too.)

It's UE3 so if it's optimized properly a 770 shouldn't have any issues with the game, can't say if that also goes for the ~100.000 PhysX particle show and Nvidia enhancements like HBAO+ and the like. I can say however that usually when developers add some fancy stuff to UE3 like say the screen space reflections from XCOM then the performance tends to be worse than it should be and it can take some time until it's optimized. (Of course if large parts of the code is changed like with Mirrors Edge than it usually works a bit better.) EDIT: Same goes for AMD and their direct compute enhancements like HDAO and TressFX of course. Last edited by JBeckman on Thu, 24th Oct 2013 14:47; edited 3 times in total

If AC is any indication to by, nope. Paul's 680 can't max out AC with PhysX and the 770 is a 680 for all intents and purposes :\

It says "This game will unlock in approximately 10 hours" atm. So, it will be unlocked at ~3 a.m. here, in Russia .which is quite inconvenient, to say the least. What a fucked up time slot for a game release! They could make it available at,say,24:00 sharp, but no, 3 a. fucking m. 1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB 2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)
