Just finished it. Was a lot better than The Walking Dead has been so far(way more interesting characters and setting). Can't wait for next episode.
Spoiler:
I actually cared about the characters that died even though I only knew them for about 30 mins to an hour before they died. Good job with that, Telltale.
holy shit. Ive played it for a bit over an hour and it's magnificent. anyone read the comics here? Is it anything like or better than this game?
spoilers from the comic and game:
Spoiler:
how the fuck is snow white dead here if she's alive in the comics. Kinda leads me to believe faith is alive too and its some big ass hoax or some shit. This whole thing should be canon prequel
finished it late at night even tho i had school really early. Very captivating. The characters made me care for them in a very short time. Its a much better world than once upon a time has.
the game has more feels of "classic" advetnure then Telltale ever did so far,
it has similar controls to Walking Dead, but the Modern/Fantasy Setting,Characters and somewhat the gameplay has the more Adventure Fantasy feel, which so far which can make it the best game Telltale did,as long they won't mass up with the upcoming episodes.
also,
Spoiler:
I'm curious about the bodies of the girls,Fables people seems to be more Harder to kill then Normal Humans,so as being mention,it seems you can revive them as well.

That was a great start wasn't it. . Short but intense, as usual. The characters are fashinating, voice acting is great, the visuals are more polished and inspired than TWD, just like I expected.
It's going to be another great interactive TV show made in Telltale. My only little complaint with these games is always the same: focusing on immersion is right, but perhaps I would have appreciated some minor puzzles here and there, just to spice things up a bit. Though the formula is so solid and the dialogues so good that it's easy to forget about what's missing and what's not.
The presentation is great, production standards are up there. But for me there's not enough game, or meaningful interaction, to get me going.
Hope the genre gets pushed forward in a more procedural way. Is still a great way to tell a story but not when i´m expecting a game, and i would never pick a book about: author unknown/various, crime investigation set among fables anyway.
