Description: /
This war is different... It wasn't started by religious conflict or territorial desires. Nobody really knows why it began. Eighty years of war pulls a shadow down over the past.
Two massive federations manage the war like a business. Their employees are mercenaries, valued on the stock market and paid per kill. But for the elite soldiers in this war, that pay is not enough.
The "Bet on Soldier" programme was created to entertain and to make a greater profit from the greed of the elite warriors. When two such soldiers compete, wagers may be placed on the outcome... providing a healthy income for battle-hardened veterans and sport for the masses.
Special Features: /
• Players must kill and bet to earn enough money to survive. No money. No bullets. No armour. No chance
• Over 40 bet on soldier champions to defeat on your way to the top
• Engrossing multiplayer up to 32 players spread over 6 warrior classes each player with the ability to bet on each other
• Spectacular battles this war is to entertain the masses everything is in an epic scale
• Strong story mode with a deep scenario and non linear progress
• Twenty missions in four distinctive environments Alaska, Europe, Nevada and Cuba
• Over 40 different weapons including a gas launcher, acid gun, 5-barrelled shotgun, hand-scythe, and rocket launcher
• Advanced artificial intelligence enemies fight in packs and protect each other with shields. Mercenaries help you out when under fire
• Two endings choose your own destiny
• Uses the innovative kt graphics engine with over six years of r&d. cutting edge novodex physics engine. Game optimized for NVIDIA and amd64

Is this game worth the download? All reviews are 60-70, and I've heard you need to download a huge patch in order to play.

Allright, I have to disconnect my cables. I know very little about all those Starforce-issues so my question is: what cables exactly? the dvds?

Anyone knows if there is any difference between both versions?...The size is different... nearly 1 GB more has the DVD version...It is tempting to burn the CD version but it is really smaller than the DVD one.
