Yeah, I've seen a few trailers for this on nbc, looks.... decent. I've been hurt before, so I need to be careful.

His hairline has been receding for a very long time. I guess this is only natural.

It's Homeland meets Silence of the Lambs. And thanks to Spader it's awesone. The girl is no Claire Danes but she feels natural and fits well. Love it so far.
Of course
Spoiler: | The convoy stopping on the bridge |
was extremely stupid but it's hollywood ok

i enjoyed the first episode, suspense was great, pace was good.. excellent pilot ep
some early thoughts:
Spoiler: | ive got a feeling she may be related to him in some way - dad? is she involved ? there was a couple of occasions when she could have been killed but always spared...
also the pic on the box she finds, thats the same shape as her burn - no? |

Spoiler: | Yeah, same shape. Dad was my thought too but then again that dramatic episode when she was 14? When she profiles herself and says she'd try to make it up by raising her own children well probably means she was abandoned. We know that Red left his wife and daughter on Christmas eve but if she was 14 then she'd remember him and at least would react if it was her story too. And that husband? He was protecting her like an asset? Then she's a result of a genetic experiment lol |

I will say that the short trailer i watched and the little i read about it didn't make me long for this series. But i was sort of bored and gave the pilot a chance (something i do with alot of new shows anyway). I ended up liking it more than expected. Spader was good in it, i kept thinking, "shit he has really aged since Stargate" but i let that go after a minute or so.
The show has potential but like always can be fucked up by the writers room if they don't think things through correctly.

He is. I just hope they don't overwork him. After The Practice and Boston Legal, he was so overworked and tired, he left television for years to work exclusively in theater.

I thought this was amazing, without a doubt the best show in this years line up (that I've seen so far). My advice would be to avoid the trailer and just watch the episode though, as the trailer is essentially the entire episode shoved into 3 or so minutes.

Anyone watch ep 2? Did it turn in to standard procedural 'oh shit we gotta do 24 of these' already?
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

I enjoyed the second ep very much, it isn't as straightforward/obvious as most series of these types.

The first two episodes were quite enjoyable, but why can't they ever get the Russian language right? When the guy who was Spoiler: | defusing the bomb | screamed "Uzhasno!" ("Terrible!") with a wide smile on his face it was such an immersion breaker. And this happens in almost every American movie and TV show. Is it that hard to find just one person who can speak proper Russian? Hell, even Google translate would've sufficed in this case. A minor complaint really, but I bet the show will have more than one Russian-speaking villain in the future whose dialogue will be just as facepalm-worthy.

Not a single fuck was/is/will be given about this by both the studio execs and the audience
