Paradox have announced Warlock 2: The Exiled. Expect constant warfare (and yes, there is a WAR-lock pun related to this in the press release), 150 spells, multiplayer ranging from PvP to co-op PvE, a new Exile mode that has you battling across the shards of the shattered land, and also the ability to play the old Master of the Arcane mode with the sequel’s new features. Also, lots of creatures “from giant rats and dwarven prospectors to werewolves with hats on them.”

Warlock 2: The Exiled is due out in spring 2014.

Nice news. Hope too that they improve the gameplay more, and not just some better graphics and new units

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the topic title was Julian Sands Very Happy And here I thought we would be playing third person action roleplaying game as a diabolical warlock in pursuit of power and everlasting youth! Oh well...

For now it's just the sandbox component of the game but that should be fully playable, campaign and DLC items will be added upon release day.

Actually both exile and sandbox modes are available.

It's only editor and Great Mage edition gimmicks that will be available upon release.

Ya I was a bit short minded before Smile

I played the Warlock 1 demo a handfull of times back then and actually enjoyed it.
When the full game was out I somehow played it less than I had the demo.

But now wanted to give Warlock 2 a good spin, atleast untill AoW3 was out, but its just not for me this game Sad I mean I love CIV 5 and I love fantasy/war etc, but this falls flat.

After a couple of tries, I set my mind on playing it more CIV like in the options (sand boxed more, flatlands etc.) but not even then.

Then again maybe the campaign is where its at with this game.

For what its worth, if you liked Warlock 1, you will surely also like this (seems more like a Warlock 1.5 in my eyes).

I have it. It seems like it's just the sandbox mode. No campaign as far as I can tell.

Nope exiled mode is just a mode of playing. In where you have to retake your former home planet and the "world" is alot of different small worlds instead of earth like (if you play sandboxed mode).
