Well, russkies do make good games sometimes.
Not as often as us developers and so on, but basically this game has several flaws:
Level design aint that great, lacking loads of details
Gameplay is very linear.
Dont think this is something to really waste time on.
For the Motherland!

i know that, usualy they steal something & turning into crap i'm not talking about games only, well everything, trust me i lived there for so long that i know
there is one good russian saying "if u can't take a shit don't torment your ass" well in russian it sounds diffrent, anyways point is if u can't do it don't do it at all,but will see maybe this game will be playable after all,at least more ppl will have there excurcion on moscow subways lol

silent storm was developed by russians. imho, THE best game of this decade.
and us devs churn out alot of shitty ass games too. where do you think all the valusoft crap gets made?
but yes, in this case the game looks like shit and has been delayed more than old ppls bowel movements. so it will probably suck.

Do you really think so? Well lets see. Without money you can NOT
1. Advertise your game. Nobody wants it cuz nobody knows about it.
2. Buy good hardware. You cant make good games on crappy hardware. Unless you make shareware games.
3. Hire good crew of talented people and pay them well so they dont run away
One Man can't do much
4. Test your game properly to find all those nasty bugs
5. There's more...

R we gonna start another cold war? But now about who's making the best games?
U can make excellent games on crappy sytems. If the gameplay is good, the game is good. Sure I like good graphix but the gameplay is more important. So you don't need millions to make a good game.
PS. BALEUR r u always here? It's hard to find a thread where I can't find you. (I don't think there is a thread where you didn't post anything?)
Keep your opinions coming, I'm enjoying them
