some ppl are always on the move, big distances from home to work or frequent flyer's
i don't think in their case they would be able to carry around desktop with monitors just for the sake of extra fps, besides current laptops are decent enough to play most games medium-high

(and worth alot more money also)

That is the most ridiculous part about the real Apple fanatics. They think a 2009 MBP will still sell for 800 EUR Facepalm

Or even first generation Apple TVs, asking 100 EUR or more because they paid so much more than that back then...a brand new ATV is 100 Poker Face

Say what you want about iMacs, but they're really neat decorative knick knacks for your house that go along well with light furniture. They are kinda like modern Fabergé Eggs and can function as fancy interactive lamps too.

Shame about the price, though I really prefer the older and much cheaper retrò models. If you have enough space I suggest you to grab a G3 which works both as a lamp and as a table! I really don't understand why they changed the shape in the newer models as that was probably the best selling point of this product. You still get the Apple sticker of course which is more than enough, but still.
