I thought this was very neat, and since I plan on putting together a home theatre PC, I was extremely intrigued by this. Anyone elses thoughts or possible other applications?

Do not buy that 6600 until you do some research. There is a thread over at the NVidia forums that must be 1000+ pages of problems. The 6600 can be very particular, especially when it comes to motherboard chipsets.
