Ground Branch has been in development for many years with almost nothing to show for it. I doubt it would ever be finished even if it got funded on Kickstarter.

I've had refunds too, the longest one being after 9 months of owning a game, but I don't see how you could get one on something like a Kickstarter project, it had nothing to do with Valve/Steam at the time of purchase

If I were a developer involved in a KS project I'd put that as official alternative to refunding (valid for all the people who pledged more than $100 for example)

Yeah, he seemed pretty humbled and very apologetic - not making excuses, just stating that there have been plenty of issues and they're working on them.
At least he finally acknowledged that the game was a colossal fuck up although he didn't directly admit it. Expect some more patching for the AI issues, as for the rest..I don't think they have the capability to improve much.

Gladly haven't kickstarted any games yet. Every one that's come out hasn't lived up anywhere near the potential they had and been colossal fuck ups.
Lately I just buy early access games. At least I can see and be part of how the game is shaped. The developers for edge of space are using a bunch of my ideas for the next patch.
