It's not the HDMI cable, that's for sure, as I switched it with my 360 one (which is working perfectly) and the issue was still present.

I'll probably have it cleaned out. BTW when is the demo coming out? It says 25th September for PS+ members.

Aye, it's a completely free demo with no protection or anything. Just download, install, play. For those that can't manually install PKG files (ie; legitimate machines) here's a redeem code for the US version;

just finished the demo. you can play two scenes we've already seen in videos. first scene is played as kid jodie where you have to "guess" the cards a person in another room holds up. second scene is a rather long police chase. don't wanna spoil too much Wink

it looks absolutely amazing for a ps3 title and plays like heavy rain on steroids. do want!

This is going to be fucking AWESOME! The demo is pretty much the same as the recent video footage, but man... it's fun as all hell Very Happy I'm loving the new control system too, now more "race car" controls - you move with the left stick, look with the right and you can interact with the world when you see a glowing dot. Press the right stick in the direction of the dot to interact.

The demo opens with the "couple of wavy lines" testing and it was really fun to control Aiden. You can do what the researchers ask of you, or you can act out and do your own thing - exploring and interacting with the environment, which annoys and scares Jodie Very Happy Really impressive impact too, I scared the SHIT out of the poor woman in the testing room and she started crying.. I felt like a bastard, haha. The rest I won't spoil for people, but if you can; get the demo.. it's fun!

Ah fuck! Sorry to hear that mate and that too just after playing the demo of this game. Here I was thinking that my X360 would be greeting me with a RRoD, when it's the only console, which hasn't given me a single major issue. But looks like even my PS3 is going down the same path and taking the piss on me. Talk about a fucking disaster.

I'll see how mine fares tonight. *fingers crossed*

It's a gorgeous game, it really isn't hard to understand why this was the final straw for the machine.. especially since it was reballed less than 3 months ago. Just fucking sucks that it's died again.... unbelievably gutted about it, I didn't even finish GTAV either. Wonderful lucky time go! Crying or Very sad

If I remember rightly it cost 500kr and there was no guarantee either, though that's the same with most non-professional fixers that I've seen.

Smarter than what, exactly? This is a launch machine, it came out before the Slims Razz, and the reball cost was less than half the cost of even a preowned Slim - 99.99% of which are all on 4.x OFW and can only be downgraded with hardware, which is another 600kr+++

Laughing to hide the fact this game internal resolution is fucking small

in 1080p on a 42 inc those black bars are 5 cm top and 5 cm bottom Laughing

wtf is this ... dragons dogma AGAIN Laughing its like they resolution is 1024x768 but they hide this fact by using black BIG ASS BARS Laughing

game looks great but the facial animations/mocap are still too wooden and way behind the last of us.
this is the one thing that annoyed me about heavy rain, for a game that concentrated on creating realistic and lifelike characters, the facial expressions werent even among the better ones in the industry, action-adventure games like enslaved even had superior facial mocap.

The faces look more real than the Last of Us though...

Also, you probably don't know that (although amazingly) : the faces animations in TLOU are all made by hand.

In BEYOND, the faces animations are captured from the actors directly on their faces with little dots.

So the technique used in BEYOND should be more realistic...
