Daemon 3.47 works, too.
And you should use xp sp2. If not, update to sp2, first.

I don't think specs do problem.
AXP 2400, 512 DDR, GF 5200 (I know, it suck), Epox mobo with nF2, XP SP1.
I'll try with those alcohol if I find one, thanks
EDIT. Damn, so I have to dl SP2... And Alcohol, 3015 or 3105?

motherboard has NForce2 chipset... as what i remember of my reading that could be a prob... but i could be wrong :/

1. Unzip sfcure01.zip
2. doubleclick !setup.bat to install the driver and press "ok" to put the needed information into your registry
3. restart your computer
4. to start the driver doubleclick !start.bat (to stop it after use doubleclick !stop.bat)
5. Get yourself a copy of Splinter Cell Chaos in mdf/mds format made with Alcohol 120%. The mds-file has to contain the DPM-information (DPM= Data Position Measurement) and the mdf-file has to one big non-splitted image. A image splitted into for example 2 gig segments wont work, at least it didnt work for me. The mdf-filesize for Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is 4,15 gigabyte for me.
6. Mount the image and install the game.
7. Start Starforce Nightmare 1.12 and disable your internal ide-Cd and DVD-drives and also disable node.
8. Now start the game while the sfcure-driver is started and starforce will verify that the mounted image is real. (Some of you maybe have to restart your computer because Starforce tells you to do this)
9. Enjoy Splinter Cell Chaos Theory without an USB-drive!

and ... i have deleted the mdf file ... and burned to dvdrom ... don´t work if i use de dvdrom ? ..
i think not ... because the driver channel is disable to fuck the starforce ... but i dont have sure :S

i was sceptical about this one... mainly because this is a methos to play games i already play with the usb dvd drive... but yea, it works perfectly to me with chaos theory, trackmania sunrise, panzers phase 2 and worms 4 atm. gonna try bet on soldier right now

You really dont need to unplug your drive, sf nightmare works just fine. But make sure your drives fully disappear from your device manager. I noticed when its simply disabled trackmania still wont launch.

i have a question i have this game on dvd it's already open if i made and images file it will be ok? i'm making it with alcohol 120%
i don't want to d/l it again it will take me ages

and one more question with sfnightmare i can cancel SATA too?
