Killzone: Shadow Fall is set 30 years after the events of Killzone 3. Life on the Helghast home planet Helghan has been left in ruins, however, the war still goes on. The Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) allows Helghast refugees to resettle on planet Vekta. The Vektan and Helghast factions are living in a city which is divided by a large security wall. The Helghast are fighting for their right to exist, while the Vektans are fighting for survival, leading to a "Cold War" between Vektans and Helghast.
I can honestly say I see nothing impressive in this video. Nothing at all. Static, non-destructibile environments, good, but not groundbreaking-good graphics, low FPS... just your typical, run of the mill FPS multiplayer mode.
Graphically it does look pretty, but then it's next gen, right? I wasn't a fan of Killzone - I remember buying KZ2 (i think) and the controls were horse-shit. I was so pissed off as I'd bought it for release and never really played it because they'd fucked that up too much.
I won't be making the mistake again with this. Whilst I'm getting a PS4, it won't be in my collection until it's either (a) very cheap or (b) reviews are truely outstanding.
If i want COD multiplayer, I'll just buy COD. (Which I probably won'!)

I should be like that as well to support my fellow countrymen, but no. KZ2 and 3 both sucked balls; I have no idea about the first one, but those 2 were not worth the money. And KZ3 was praised for its visuals a lot - I fired the game up and the visuals were exactly what instantly put me off. Lighting and such are fine, but the amount of vaseline is ridiculous, for a second I seriously thought I had something in my eyes. And then when you look past the vaseline, it's really not that impressive. They just hide the lack of grunt well.
This one will at least visually be great, gameplay and story still look generic as hell.

I agree buddy. I hated the KZ2 controls as well, very floaty and sloppy feeling. But I trudged through it and it was worth the ride.
KZ3 felt much better, and I hope you go back to try it again someday.
After KZ3, very excited for KZ4, and the Vita game is excellent as well.

One of thirteen in a dozen as far as I'm concerned and visually KZ2 was better than 3 (a lot of quirky animations in 3, more vaseline in most locations, very bland design).

@Werelds: Saying a game sucks balls would make it a 2-3/10 game at best. And KZ3 is simply not that bad, and you're not allowed to say it is because the average review is way higher. And your unprofessional personal opinion doesn't matter at all.
Its a big playstation 3 exclusive game, so people won't have that kind of mockery. It would be like saying Halo series sucks because you don't like it.

Iv never cared much for the xbox exclusives either, but there are some other good ones too like Forza 4 and PGR series. And Ace combat and H.A.W.X's games if you're into flight games

I played the game today on PS4! Queued for 2 frickin hours and got to play a 9 minute multiplayer game! It was worth it! Looks so good but I would have preferred some single player gameplay! The PS4 controller feels so nice!
