I've got the game too,installing...
Can you PAUSE Cutscenes (moments where you can't play,just watch) like RDR or something?..i don't wanna miss a single line!! ;__;

Thanks! There is definitely a difference in ground textures to the advantage of the PS3, although lower framerates overall. Wonder if they ever get to fix the streaming in the Xbox 360 version through patches? I am also wondering if I fare any better with the Jtag since I put disc 2 on external 2TB USB HDD. Must be faster than disc loading no? I want to find that exact spot on the farm and see how it looks on my console.

Well i try 1)both discs on internal HDD, 2)internal and USB, 3)internal and external HDD. intro is all the same (railing pop ups in intro etc.). So dunno whats wrong

i wonder what the psn version is like, on one hand they are optimized for hdd-only access (a la ni no kuni which was just unplayable on cfw any other way), on the other hand if they really cant do much about it, the pop-ins will be unavoidable since all content will stream from a single hdd.
