I installed Disk 1 on the internal and Disk 2 on an external HDD. Works great. Don't had any extreme pop ins.

Playing with both discs installed and then tried out with disc 2 on flash drive/external hdd?
Some guys reported that the pop-ins only happens in the intro, and after that no problems at all, with the "Play Disc" installed on HDD.

So I played the game for many hours this weekend and it's interesting but I can't help but feel "meh" towards it in terms of continuing the storyline. For example, I have cleared all of the ? markers and incoming texts/calls and all that's left is the car dealer shop. So I assume I'm supposed to go see him to continue on?
Also, the save system is messed up. Every time I save and then load coming back to play I start out outside of a gun shop in an older save point. I then have to load the newer save that tells me I am 5.x percent complete so far.
I will say that the cops are hilarious with what they do with people. I followed a squad car who threw his lights on, chased a couple of people in another car. Shootout occurs. Perps are dead, and one cop gets back into the squad car and drives off, leaving the other one there.
Oh yeah, I also found that if you want to lose cops, just drive on the railroad tracks. They won't follow you.
im going to hold of going on live until after midnight .but it should be fine , there are multiple reports of stores selling it in germany and spain . so this close to release date it should not be a problem
I got a question about the character skills. Do they increase? If so, what makes them do so? Will less used skills decline as a result?
And about weapons. Can you customize them or are they just preset like before?

Yes they do increase, they increase by use "Breathing" increases by swimming, "Stamina" increases by running/biking, "Strength" increases by fighting, "Driving" etc etc, and no they don't decrease with lack of use Yes weapons can be customised with various attachments and a few colours

Does anyone know if the property-based missions crop back up? I bought a pub up near Trevor's home and got a "P" mission come up to help them out, but I was busy at the time and after a few minutes they message me back and said "Ok fine, I guess we can just water down the drinks" and the mission went away That was an hour ago and it hasn't come back yet.
Someone was asking earlier about getting into jumbo jets, you can get in them by standing by the front wheels underneath the plane and press enter... very slow to fly though.

Yeah, just took a look and you can teach him tricks. It's like a little mini-game that you can feed, play, walk him...etc It's pretty much a tamagochi lol.
The Andriod app is coming soon from what I've heard.
You can also customize your car/upgrade it and even choose a custom lettered license plate through the app. For the license plate it looks like you can only do it once, and apparently what you choose is permanent. It is a first come first serve basis too, so if you want to reserve a custom license plate for online play I would get on it before someone else takes the one you want. TW1ST is all mine But since I'm afriad to go on live until tomorrow, I don't how it works just yet.
This is pretty impressive for an app that works in sync with the game. Also has life invader stuff, rockstar social club, GTAV sections with news...etc
