Let me get this straight. So there is no official release date for the PC? And there has been no official statement from official channels (rockstar) that the game will even be released for the PC sometime in the distant future?

I don't know what game you're thinking about, but it sure as hell isn't Blood, that wouldn't have fit on 50 floppies even if it were possible to get the game to work that way - you're looking at many, many more than 50 |

That must be the shareware version or something, because I've got the 2 CD-ROM version here, one for the original 4 episodes, another for the expansions. And I've got the GOG version as well somewhere, which is 300-something megs
Edit: not that either of those CD-ROMs will be filled fully, but 13 or even 50 floppies? No way, the fuck did they strip to get it down to that for all 4 episodes? |

It may have been the shareware version, you're right, I don't fully recall the details except that I'm damned near certain I played Blood from a floppy install.

You're a weird guy, Ace, weird guy. Though it's not like I disagree with you in this regard, Rockstar are assholes for not releasing the PC version until six months later.

I have no idea, that's the Blood I've played back in the days.
I unpacked it for the sake of argument and the unpacked contents have a size of
45,3 MB (47.596.984 bytes)
PC: Yes. Console: No.

I'll install the GOG version at some point and see what the 4 base episodes are like in size unpacked, it's not as if we've got GTA V for PC to talk about in here just yet so
I might be wrong, I just can't couple them using two CD-ROMs and the GOG installer for it all being 300-something megs with it fitting on 50 floppies

I hope GTA V will get a floppy storage format version too because my dvd rom died. I can live with it if BF4 is not released on floppy but V is a whole different scenario and its a must have.

They will fill up my shelf nice. I wouldn't mind to buy all new games on floppies though. Its way more epic. Just imagine it = 1 game - one shelf. For every new game you buy you have to buy and a new shelf because the floppies will up all the space.

It's obvious GTA5 will come to PC, Rockstar North would be friggin' lynched if they didn't bring the next major incarnation of an original PC series back to the PC. RDR is unforgivable but at least understandable since it was from Rockstar San Diego, a separate "branch", but RSN are originally DMA Design and no way in hell would they exclude the PC.

Can somebody hold me and tell me everything is going to be alright?
It's getting more difficult by the day to restrain from purchasing a used frying pan solely for GTA5.
Reason being everything and I mean everything will be spoiled by the time it releases for PC. Most people will be courteous enough to use tags but then that one asshole will type TREVOR DIES IN BOLD CAPS. It's fucking unavoidable, and there will be no sense of fucking novelty like this is now.
Fuck Rockstar for porting this from PC to consoles for monetary gain period. Worse than Hitler literally.
