nah, a) a lot of people don't mind
b) all the casuals using Smartphones, Tablets and Mom/Dad PC's never heard of it and are still the vast majority. they will remain oblivious until the end of time c) many sites would die off if they restricted their access or made ADs more intrusive. staying close to the "tip of the iceberg" and not sinking towards the deep web is a matter of life and death for them.
So block that shit, hell I even block the supposedly "non-intrusive" AD's, at least as long as google is still in that list.
Getting plain wrong and tailored AD search results on top, is not only intrusive, but also misdirecting.

Actually, a friend's mother gets really annoyed about blocking ads and she won't have adblock on her machine, she sees it as illegal by blocking the ads that keep websites free. She goes on about how it's "stealing money from those that give you content" - same with skipping/fastforwarding over commercials on TV or at the start of a DVD
