Haha, I can't tell if I'm closer or farther away now.
Now I'm getting "Original disc could not be found or authenticated."
Wooo.

That worked for me too krypus, open up the .BWT file with a text editor and you can see what it is expecting the filenames to be. Make sure all the filenames match up, mount the .BWT file and you should be good to go. Make sure you have Securom emulation turned on in Daemon Tools.
Good luck.

I tried burning the images and still no luck. I opened up the .bwt file and the file names where the same as the files but the path was wrong. Should I change the path? If it dont matter, could you please paste the text in your .bwt file? You can send it as a pm if you wish.
Vote Pro-Gun.

Ok, here's how i did to all of you that wont get it to work
:: STEP 1 :: Install DoW, but DONT CRACK IT !!! if you did, you',ll have to replace the cracked exe with the original, otherwise the WinterAssault setup cant update your DoW to v1,4.
:: STEP 2 :: Rename the files in CD1 to "mir-wh40kwa.bwa" "mir-wh40kwa.BWI" "mir-wh40kwa.BWS" and "mir-wh40kwa.BWT".
:: STEP 3 :: Rename the files in CD2 to "MIR-WH40KWB.bin" and "MIR-WH40KWB.cue".
:: STEP 4 :: Install the game using Alcohol 120% or Daemon tools 3.47
:: STEP 5 :: Play the game

tech673:
The path doesn't matter, just the filename. If the filenames in the .bwt match the actual filenames then you should be good to go. What happens when you try to mount the .bwt file using daemon tools v3.47 with Securom emulation? If you don't get an error message when trying to mount, then the problem is not with the .bwt file.
Also, I did not have to change the filenames of cd2.

Ugh, everyone keeps saying that, but the real problem is that both Securom AND the game itself check for virtual drives and won't run if they are installed.
Until you can add a :: STEP 6 :: which details how to stealth your virtual drives while keeping them running, your guide will never work for a lot of us.

chances are your network setup is screwing with it, and that has nothing to do with warhammer really. You could try hamachi anyway I suppose, worth a try anyway.

I dunno bout this game
but most of the clones that have be released as of late are all easily emu'ed...daemon,no emu'ed, leave daemon on sys try, leave image mounted and enjoy

Make sure you guys aren't using daemon tools, and if you are, you have to uninstall both DoW and WA and then make sure daemon tools is totally wiped out.
Then use Alcohol 120% to mount/install/play
I had all of your same problems until I stopped using d-tools.
My version of Alcohol 120% is: 1.9.2 (Build 1705)

Well they are reporting the exact error messages I was getting, so I figure I'd drop the info that got it working for me.
Yes I'm sure I was using the latest d-tools, 3.47
