I agree, great game. I've been playing stealth + perfectionist and it is quite challenging and sometimes frustrating without saves but still remains fun. The only thing I found to be lacking is facial expressions, Sam's eyes are fucked up.

No, because that would mean playing at 2560x1440, which is not smooth enough on a single 680. All the troubles start because I am not playing on a native resolution.

Oh I didn't know you had a 30" or well a high-resolution display anyways. Smile
(Yeah this game is pretty demanding here as well with the settings cranked up, at your resolution I guess MSAA must be problematic let alone the SSAA alternatives though TXAA is probably manageable since it's faster but on the downside it has a bit of blur somewhere between FXAA and SMAA or how to say.)

Must be a game bug then if it can't switch out of the resolution to desktop and back again, Ubisoft PC games tend to have a variety of technical hickups or what to call them but it's getting better. Smile
(Nvidia is helping out nicely with their latest games, optimization might not always be top notch but it's improving though I guess these upcoming games will be even more straining.)

The problem is it starts most of the time in windowed (despite being set as full in the settings), and two out of three times it crashes when alt-entering or going in settings and setting to full screen. When it does start in full screen, it has a fucked up input region and the mouse can only move about 2/3 of the screen vertically and requires changing resolution to work properly.

Yeah that issue, I read about that recently on the Steam forums I think, something with how it doesn't take into account the chosen game resolution (I don't remember the exact details.) and instead uses desktop or something thus the input doesn't match up (sync with menu displays and the like.) and you get that problem that you just described, that's definitively something they have to fix then. Smile
(The more people reporting about it - Steam or Ubisoft forums for example - the more likely a fix will be released and hopefully it'll be part of whatever PC specific fixes the 1.02 update will bring whenever it's released.)

Finished this earlier. I was a bit surprised about how good it was considering I really didn't like Conviction.

I literately was just asking Neon about this, I'm having the same issue as you guys minus the crash though. Slightly annoying, but alt+tab does the trick for now... Hopefully the next patch addresses this one.

Great game by the way, I tried to get into Conviction a few weeks back just to get prepped for Blacklist, and I had to delete it after playing for about an hour. Big improvement over Conviction. Really enjoying it thus far.

Completed the game, game didn't show me the cutscenes, only sounds. I had to youtube them.
Awful boss battle or whatever it was.

I'm done, it was very enjoyable. It looked and ran good, the level design and AI was pretty good, I liked the stealth and they had a nice mixture of stealth and action. The game did get more action oriented with each level though. That bummed me out a bit. This new Sam was beginning to work on my nerves, such a boring character. The story was also quite bland, I really wasn't interested anymore in the end. The end itself was crap, that's all I can say about it. So basically I went from a 8.5 to a 7 as the game progressed.

7.5/10, great start, average end. I'd like a sequel please.

OK I booted up this game today and I get a lot of invisible models. Even Sam is invisible on most camera angles!

Is there some known fix to it (Radeon 4850)?

I find myself using the silenced pistol during 80% of my kills, granted I haven't really gone far in the game yet... but I don't see a point of getting/upgrading weapons yet...

You can play the whole game with just the pistol. It's just that getting/upgrading weapons will make your life easier if you go the lethal route.

The sniper rifle you can unlock and buy for something like 200000$ is just completely badass once fully upgraded. You can obliterate a whole room much faster and safer than with the pistol. Oh and it's silenced too Very Happy

The silenced assault rifle unlock is a monster too

play all-out assault style is sometimes harder than ghost Laughing
gotta say is lot's of fun playing assault style tho, you can't stand in the same place, it's two shots and change position or you will surely be taken out. If you finished the game on ghost, evading everyone, do yourself a favor and go back on pure assault and waste those bitches Very Happy

After a forced pause of a few days and with the sour memory of the horrible last 2 story missions, I played the 3rd Grim mission and it didn't disappoint Very Happy Looking forward to a story mission next that keeps the quality as high Smile
