I get solid 40 fps. Oh and the particles seem to be the biggest resource hog. (Fog, dust, smoke etc)
I just tried to set it to what I'm running Shogun2 on and it works. Looks decent, runs decent (even on the world map). Just like they said it would.
Except for the kinda wonky LoD. |
tried the same and same result as you, although slightly less frames, still a relief. Least it's playable. Thought I might have to spend the day building my Onager and playing Tabula for a moment there. Phew! Right see ya. I'm done.

i'm kinda surprised, that there are no drivers out from nvidia.
It's a pretty major game release.
@cartoon : sure it's crossfire related ?

@ Bob: that's normal - preorder prices go up when a game is released, especially if it had bonuses.

sounds like his hd's boot sector was erased/failed somehow. Which is more likely to be caused by a malicious virus or by hardware failure.
Certainly not by a game and/or steam lol.

5 fps+ in general or do you mean in this game? 6GB vram is probably quite nice to have for some games i bet (heavily modded Skyrim etc). |
You need more gpu power before vram would be usefull @6gb sli or tri sli |
Umm, it's pretty usefull if it's filled up, gpu power has nothing to do with it. |
I mean your fps will be very low (20fps) with lots of mods+special AA in Skyrim even with one GTX TITAN, you need at least two or three to run it smooth enough.

If you guys are getting blurry textures try enabling the "unlimited video memory" setting. It worked for me, now units don't look like clay men.

Battle maps are linked to the exact spot on your campaign map. Custom battles don't even have maps to choose anymore, you just click anywhere on the map and it gives you GPS coordinates.
