I`ve been here for like 10yrs and its always the same. I can`t remember if the Mods were harder on that stuff before but it seems they are pretty lax`bout it.
I do agree tough, alot of people check the thread for every reply just to see if something happened. And when a rls name pops up for something they`re super excited about it`s easy to get that "YES" followed by shitty dissapointment.
It`s funny like...once if done in the right timing in the discussion. Other than that its just annoying and pointless.

Lets make some friendly predictions as to what date you think the game will leak.
I predict either the 3rd or 10th of September. There is something about Tuesday that makes me think it will be one of those dates. Of course I hope it's the 3rd, but not likely, the 10th sounds about right though.
i conditioned myself into believing that once i finish the commandos games (commandos 1 + its expansion + 2, fuck 3 and strike force), gta 5 will leak.
right now i m on mission 6 of commandos 1, its still going smooth but about to become a bumpy ride in a few missions, wish me luck guys.
I think I might be the only one not really looking forward to this .... of course I'll download it but GTA 4 was such a disappointment ..... Haven't liked the game since San Andreas .... Hopefully they will prove me wrong tho

you know whats weird? i actually agree with you, although still excited for this, just because its gta
gta 3, vice city, and san andreas were more about fun and i felt gta 4 was more about realism, and il admit when i first saw the trailers for this i said "fuck its using the same engine as gta 4", along with the cellphone shit and the fact that gta 4 seems very empty (what can you buy in gta 4? clothes?) hope this game is diffrent.
I work at GameStop in Indiana and we got our shipment of gta v this weekend and I spent the whole day scanning inventory on them all. And trying to let my boss allow me to borrow a copy for the night lol

iv heard this from multiple people and am def thinkin about trying it out, i played half way through the lost of the damned and lost interest, shoulda started tbogt but uninstalled it cuz i needed hardrive space.
The Lost and Damned is nowhere near as good as The Ballad of Gay Tony and in fact, the base game is more interesting than The Lost and Damned (in before anyone rages again: I M O).
TBoGT is definitely the one out of the three that's most fun. It's got SA's crazy story and characters without the horrendous....culture from that game (being polite here ). It is 100% worth a playthrough, more so than the base game or TLaD.
That said, even though IV is pretty darn boring and even though the PC version had its....issues, it wasn't all bad. I don't know about you guys, I might be the only one in this, but I actually really liked the game's driving model. It has just a bit more realism, in that the vehicles all have their own proper weight and simple things like where the engine is in the car and whether it's FWD/RWD/4WD matter in how the thing handles. As a sim lover, that made it very enjoyable to me, because even though it's still absolutely arcade, it makes the driving more involved than any of the NFS games the past fuck-knows-how-many years (Shift excluded). Just a shame the physics engine sometimes spazzes out and miscalculates, sending shit flying to the moon
I really hope they kept that though.
Now if only I could deal with playing the entire thing with a gamepad so that I can grab the upcoming console version, because I've been trying it with IV/EFLC and I just can't stand the shooting

I think GTA4 was the best GTA yet. I loved the missions, The store was amazing, the gameplay was great, the characters and the city where awesome. I don't want GTA to become wacky fake SR lookalike. What I never got was people that complained that they needed to drive a lot in GTA4. Well it's part of the fun, really. It's like saying in Fifa you need to run all the way to the other goal to score a goal yourself. Hope Rockstar knows that the silent majority loved the way GTA4 was.
