Im already so bored to the game, have all recent DLC's aswell... Biggest problem in this game is loot, it seems i have bad luck or something, but nothing wont drop for my Gunzerker. Game also is very difficult without good weapons (me and my brother are 49lvl, and we die all the time). Dunno if its supposed to be like this that it takes like 5 mins to kill badass mob , also you die itself like 10 times in that time Laughing. Also the steam cloud is the shit in this one (playing from home and occassionally at brothers place on laptop).

Wow that's not normal at all. The loot system in this game is kinda bad. After certain level drops stay capped to a level way below your character's (apparently this can be fixed playing True Vault Hunter mode). Haven't you been collecting those awesome golden keys? All my weapons for the DLC came from there, they are superior to anything you can find by exploring.

My problem is that the scaling is fixed to a certain max level. This way when I finished all the DLC and started a newgame+ my character was much more powerful than the enemies, making the new run boring fast.

And the loot system. It was fixed with one of the earlier patches. I had drops of powerful orange weapons but then later it was stealth nerfed. I don't know why would they do that.

Maybe you just suck: The Sequel Cool Face

Really, I'm playing solo, lvl 39 mechromancer now and it's pretty easy.
And unless the difficulty suddenly spikes when you're playing with other folks it should be even easier if you're going with a gunzerker, no? Confused

As for better weapons do the hyperion slaughter arena round 5 if you haven't already, collect the blue drops but throw yourself to the lava in the end so you'll be able to keep them and repeat the round.
Also, spend a while in the slot machines that you find from one armed bandits from time to time, "level" goliaths before killing them and do a run or 2 in areas with some nice loot chests and fairly high lvl enemies (the lynchwood part where you fought the xerife has tons of loot "chests").
In other words, you'll have to grind a bit Cool Face

Don't like it and didn't collect the golden keys? Though titties, better play something else. Mad

Is your first time in Pandora? Very Happy Yes, the difficulty scales based on how many people are playing, just like Diablo. If 4 people are playing, the difficult scales up enormously - you start fighting more Badass variants, even some completely unique enemies, and lots more of them at that Very Happy

I have mate, but that doesn't mean I don't read up on stuff like that Smile I used to play the first BL in MP and it's the same system - and you can even get hacks that "simulate" additional players so as to force the difficulty up for better looting in solo, like the old Diablo /players X command.

He said that it was he and his brother. 2 guys.
Assuming that he was talking about co-op, which I think he was.

But yeah, never played this in co-op and I probably never will. Smile

Some update downloaded, now there's three new folders in the DLC folder and I'm unsure what was changed with the game.
(Lobelia, Gardenia05 and CommDay2013)

EDIT: CommDay and Gardenia05 = character skins (and heads?)
(Unsure about Lobelia, there's only skins for now but the ini has more stuff than the other two.)

EDIT: List of current active shift-codes.

It was mostly for the skins and items, such as the unique heads for the Dragon Keep DLC. Smile
(You can use the editor to get them too of course, I had no idea those were shift key unlocked, now I just need to find the corresponding character skins.)

You're doing it wrong. If you want to lvl up lower skilled friends, you do it like that. Else you get the lowest lvl friend to host and then all enemies are on his lvl, not yours.

Best option would be for you to let the lvl 42 host, that way lvl 39 gets more xp and it's not too easy for you.

The chest is pretty OK as such but I believe it caps at level 50 so it's not much use in Ultimate Vault Hunter mode unless it was patched to scale all the way up to 61, it's also completely random what you get so it's pretty cumbersome to use and if I remember correctly it gives up to purple or bright purple (elemental) max so you can't get unique items with it nor can you get the more recent seraph (pink) items.
(Though purple is pretty strong already if you get some good mods on the base weapon.)

Unique items should still be better although rarer and pink seraph equipment is pretty good too albeit a bit more specialized. (Although Torque tokens makes orange or gold equipment more available via those dispensers.)

EDIT: I'm a bit biased to unique weapons though, like their more unique appearance more although special blue quest reward items can be fun as well although those are usually not as strong.

like fucking random item drops are meant to be fun. If I didnt buy this game I would never ever complete main story, let alone DLCs, just because of this random bs... I hate this random shit so much.

http://uloz.to/xGgjm9Td/trainer-exe (Borderlands 2 - "v1.0.60.324" - Trainer - 23 June 2013 - Updated!)

I am using this one. Just press Home key for program activation (you should hear Program activated on background) and then Insert for unlimited keys (you should hear Oooooonnnn). There will be no popup about golden keys anymore when you press open the chest. Profit.

I completely agree with JBeckman.

What little of what I played a long time ago, I kinda got bored and ended up farming the golden key chest with unlimited keys from Cheat Engine for several days. I don't know if they've changed anything since then, but basically I found the weapons to be pretty bad.

Whilst the weapons were of the same level as me (I think was in the late 30's or 40's), they were all essentially the same in terms of overall damage. The unique weapons from the slot machines were much better.

Compared to Borderlands 1, the purple guns in that game tended to be very good, even compared to the uniques. I might not have played enough of the game to state this but, that's my problem with BL2, the way they changed the randomisation of the guns made all of them feel the same (excluding the manufacturer speciality).

I'm not explaining this very well, but I much preferred the weapons and the way the randomisation worked in BL1.

From what I've checked in the save editor each gun type has far less parts available for it thus the randomization is more noticeable in the first game whereas here many guns will be similar in statistics although visually they can still vary widely. Smile
(And it also brings a distinct change in power from one rarity level to another.)

I miss the Eridium weapons though, whatever happened to those. Very Happy

Oh you goddamn MOTHERFUCKERS. Season Pass holders get the first "Ultimate Upgrade Pack" -- but then Gearfucks goes and releases a SECOND one, further increasing the level cap as well as adding new loot and areas, but this one isn't part of the season pass.. just like none of the other non-story DLC is.
