Steam preloads are really compressed. I think the Payday2 preload was 5.9gb and the folder is now 18.7

So ~14 GB of Steam pre-load data (Compressed so it's probably that 10 GB download minus any last minute updates.) and then an additional ~15 GB when it's unpacking before it can clean up the containers. Smile

Or well I guess that's how it is.

Its gonna be around 18gb installed and in the future with DLCs and shit it will be around 35gb.

Quote:
Guy's I've posted on the Pre-loading thread but it's worth pointing out that there is no need to panic!9.9gb is correct, it will uncompress to a larger size at launch. The game will not be the full 35gb noted in the recommended specs at launch because that includes an estimate of additional space for future content updates, temporary disc space needed at install and so on. The actual size of the game on your hard drive at launch once you’ve finished installing will be around 18gb.Hope that clears things up. I am here to get answers for you so if you have any concerns let me know and I'll try and get the answers as soon as I can

http://wiki.totalwar.com/w/Total_War_ROME_II:_Regional_Restrictions

According to the Regional Restrictions Nuuvem shouldn´t be a problem. I´ve just had the thought to cancel my order and hop over to gmg. 43 € would be acceptable plus I could predownload now and not when nuuvem finally decide to join the party... whenever this will be.

EDIT: Release was shortened by 10 hours

So Much Win

Cheapest - $30 Steam. Ask some friendly Russian to gift it. Smile

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Bad idea since its region locked.

http://wiki.totalwar.com/w/Total_War_ROME_II:_Regional_Restrictions

Physical copies and digital keys for ROME II purchased in these territories will only work within these territories:

• China, Taiwan, & Hong Kong
• Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, & Myanmar
• Russia + CIS
• India
• Turkey

Also, copies purchased elsewhere in the world outside of those regions listed, will not work within those regions.

Good to know. I went the "Russian friend" route to get the game. I'd hate to get a "In Mother Russia, Rome 2 conquers YOU!" message when I hit play.

They put a fucking catapult instead of an action figure of a Roman legionary or something really epic. It's a catapult. It's an ugly ass catapult. Doh!

Btw: You should seriously read and check this every day. He updates it everyday and we get new information from the campaign map, diplomacy and other details about the game related to campaign.

Hello my friends,
the question is, is there some list of the new features/improvents to the previous games?
Also there is no story campaign i guees, besides some historical battles?

Factions and OP units sold as DLC and streamlined moddability, that's the main improvements.

There is a story campaign of course, just like in every other Total War game to date.

Scour this site for more info on the game: http://www.twcenter.net/
