been playing since beta and had original account so I have had ability to play from start, que for me in evening is about 50 ish max so far and takes only 1min to filter through and get me in.. been playing or rather logged in for last 5hrs |

Im guessing they still have restriction on able to create or login new toons? I dont keep up with that of course cause it dont have a baring on me

Kuro i cant find any info how to get the BM job.. where do I go is it the story line with Minifi girl or what? I have the required skill levels but now I cant see where or what when why nothing on map showing for quests i can see for it etc
got a site for this shit?
edit: goto be the guild i need to go to but i see no quest marker at all .. ill go look.

I have one to do called Facing your demons still though at this time.. ill do that

5 level gaps between the special job skills
its hard to know wether to keep going or grab the cross skills but that means arch/arc all to 34 and bm to 50 to get it all
im shaking with the thought lol .......
how or where is the mount armor sets you can get? ive yet to see any available anywhere..
but plenty people running around with various parts on.
and there are mount skills to unlock? so you can use them to defend you wtf.. the lack of info regarding getting that done is terrible |

This is the problem with people starting fresh and new to this game..
E.g,, ive hit all ive got so far class level wise and stuff and still have quests in all areas ive travelled in so far... so im 30/15/15 say in classes and lower in craft but still got quests apart from main story line..
This is how you should do ones leveling according to beta times anyhow, still applies.
You pick a class say Thaumaturge..
You follow the hand holding quests through to 10 cause lets face it its pretty much a solid tutorial right in that..
Do only story line quests to 20 level for sure, and that will take you through all the dungeon runs with people as you keep doing story quest line.
As you are doing the story quest line also do ones normal "get out my way kill things" as you run around and also make sure you do the "hunters log" quests for your level and unlocks to next tier..
Hunters log: pick the class and look where shit is you need do in local area order of course to limit downtime. http://ffxiv-art-of-war.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Hunting_Log
By time you hit 15 you will and should of unlocked the leve stuff, there is also a guildleve quest "basics" that introduces you to team work and add pulling, funny enough not even done that yet Ive have no reason to at this stage. But get it out the way if needs be.
once then on your main at level 20 grab a 2nd class that goes with ones first to compliment it, and level that to 15 as well using normal quests and std leve quests and fates. Easy as fucking pie that part to 15 is.
List of jobs
Pick correct 2nd class
Bard - Archer 30 / Pugilist 15
Warrior - Marauder 30 / Gladiator 15
Monk - Pugilist 30 / Lancer 15
Dragoon - Lancer 30 / Marauder 15
Black Mage - Thaumaturge 30 / Archer 15
White Mage - Conjuror 30 / 15 Arcanist
Paladin - Gladiator 30 / Conjuror 15
Summoner - Arcanist 30 / Thaumaturge 15
Scholar- Arcanist 30 / Conjuror 15
go back to main class and grab your last 10 levels to 30 all via story line, the new grand company leves, and story that you will unlock between 20 and 30 while on way to big 30.
I also got arcanist up to 11 at least in that time but by mistake more than anything as thought it was needed for my black mage to unlock but it was not, but I say do at least 6 levels or so to get the heal, its dead handy in cross over skill use and its a saviour when in a dungeon and the healer goes all derptastic and fucks up etc and you can quite simply be the one that saves the tank at the last moment with a blast of that arcanists skill.
You can apply that leveling to the special class unlock to all style of class combinations.. and its how mostly it was done by many in beta to make it all as streamlined/fast as possible.
Dont underestimate FATES.. they pop so bloody often you could probably level alone off them if you wanted (bore) but if you hit gold reward each time you will get a good xp boost off it, log out also in a rest area or better still sleep in a bed at an inn for boosted xp gains, I will surely be sleeping for next 3 days in one while im afk from game
Leveling this way you are left with dotted quest mini lines all around the world still for you to throw in when you are taking your 2nd and 3rd classes higher to level 34sih to benefit from all cross over skills later when you are 50 with your speciality class...
They are by no means huge xp then for you but it all helps and its something you would not normally of had if done them just because they were infront of your nose when younger.
I see people with one class blitzing around grabbing all quests they see infront of them and then at 29 they are shouting in channel "ive run out of quests what do I do" and they still dont even have a 2nd class done yet. |
