It is horrible what is happening to innocent people over there but another war for the west to sort again the question comes.

This. Sorry if this sounds like a callous thing to say, but personal problems and issues take precedence over injustice and problems in other countries. I should stop being depressed just because someone is being oppressed? Life doesn't work that way, I'm afraid. Do I CARE that people are suffering? Sure, I'd be a heartless prick otherwise, but my own problems still come first.

Usually I like to see my empty glass as 1/4 full despite all the bad news, both personal and worldwide, it's my only way to survive.. otherwise I'd end up being trapped into a loop of permanent state of sadness and I don't want that to happen
