Anyone noticed that this game is very quiet ?

I posted the fix on the last page but here it is again.
So many of the bugs from SR3 that were never fixed still carry over and this has to be one of the dumbest bug fixes I have ever heard a Dev make, if you have the low or missing audio sound issues Volition is telling you to watch the 3 opening movies when you start up the game in full, if you skip them you will have the sound bug. If they know the fix, why not patch it especially since SR3 had the same problem but I guess being with a new publisher they are at least acknowledging the bug now.

Damn it. Played and finished it, now I want superpowers in SR3  and space conquest in V.
Overall surprisingly good game! Love the nerdy vibe, "gangsta" was getting pretty old. And those missions, pure brilliance some of them

driving is really fucking weird in this one. It's kinda inconsistent. At times I find it good and then suddenly the handling goes to shit and i hate it. Shooting is boring and lightning fx weird. The over the topness doesnt amuse me that much.

my game is downright broken...
from gateway I have acces to all of the game weapons. even the kinda debug weapons. And dubstep gun doesnt work
edit:
ohh.. and the sound volume is still low even if I dont skip intros. WTF broken game

The only other sound fix people used in SR3 was to run an mp3 or movie in Windows Media Player and pause it then run Saints Row and that would help with the sound levels for some. You need to keep that video paused in the background while you play the game.

nope. DOn't work.
In first menu, the sound is perfectly loud but it is very low in game.
and besides it is all broken with weapons anyway now.... 10hours in. I think I have to reinstall and start over.........................

My saves suddenly don't work no more, wtf? I had a few weird crashes in the ending mission and after finishing it.

None of them? Crashes shouldn't affect anything except maybe the autosave, if it happened to be saving right at that moment.

Try backing them up, then starting a new game and doing a new save, see if it even appears in that folder? The save folder might've changed somehow, don't think that's unheard of with these Steam-cracked games.

It should make folders based on username (specified in the INI file). If you changed cracks that will be different.

Help with the mission All Hands on Deck?
At the part where you enter the airlock, and you kill a few aliens, I can't progress? In a video I saw that the homie you have with you (to avoid spoilers) is supposed to go and open a crate, but for me, he just stands there doing nothing. Any idea how to fix it?
