Focus Home Interactive has unveiled today Bound by Flame, Spiders Games’ bigger project that is under development for months now and targeted for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at the end of 2013. In addition, the publisher has revealed the first screenshot for it that can be viewed below.
In this action/role-playing game, players will assume the role of a mercenary possessed by a flame demon in an ambitious Dark Fantasy universe.
I'm interested in this, but I really don't understand the guys from Spiders Games. They seem to be quite competent, yet they keep rushing out game after game, instead of spending that time on one game, polishing it and what not.
Probably Focus Home is pushing them to release ASAP. Not unknown practice

Seems like they kept all the positive aspects from War Logs and improved the combat system, I'd say it's a great news. Now let's only hope the story and improved (?) dialogue system are good too.
Spiders and Cyanide make some pretty decent hidden gems. Game of Thrones was stunningly good when you really got into in, Mars War Logs (with the new translation it was even better ) and Of Orcs and Men too.
Their games sure have problems, but being generic is really not one of them.
This.
There's nothing generic about Mars: War Logs and Orcs & Men. I can't speak for GoT because I dislike the source material so see no reason to play the game.
Oh... oh! Now I know who we are talking about. Pfft, haha, nevermind then, pretend I never posted in this thread.
GoT RPG was made by Cyanide not Spiders, in case of Of Orcs and Men Spiders deveped the game based on Cyanide's assets and concepts. They did some adventures(Sherlocks, Gray MAtter) .Mars, Faery and Bound in Blood are their own games. Also studio was made from some devs who made Silverfall + expansion.
Silverfall is another cracking game too, enormous aRPG and one of my favourites. Faery Legend of Avalon is fun, if a little clunky, though I guess that tends to describe most of their games; fun but clunky.
I don't really consider myself a GoT fan. I do love the show, but I have no intention of reading the books. Even so, I absolutely loved this game and still think it's one of the best RPGs ever made pretty much. I loved it as a gamer, not as a GoT fan. I loved it because it was a really good game with an amazing story on top of it.
