You mean that you can't select anything in menu anymore?
Because i got that when using alt+enter or alt+tab sometimes.
But since i play with controller, i just pull out batterypack, put it back in and it works again
Never had a single crash or anything strange for once |
All the bugs happen when you don't use the native resolution of your screen, I think. It messes up the viewport and the input area, so your mouse is borked up.
Leave it to Ubisoft to fail in the most ridiculous of ways on PC.

Single 680 is not enough for smooth 2560x1440.

Odd ending
Spoiler: |
Sam defeats Sadiq, Sadiq tells Sam that if he kills him, it changes nothing because the 12 countries behind the blacklist will carry on the plans, and if he captures him, he'll spill every little secret he knows during his trial.
So basically, according to Sadiq Sam has two options, kill him or capture and put him on trial.
Is he retarded?
Did he forget about Guantanamo Bay? You know, that prison that houses terrorists/suspected terrorists and such? Where they can do whatever the hell they want and no one will ever know, that place where he sent one of his partners in crime?
He's such an intelligent person, always a step or two ahead of Sam and his gang, yet it never occurred to him they'll send him to gitmo where guys like Vic will, in due time, break him and know exactly who is behind the Blacklist?
Did he seriously think his only two options are death, or a proper trial?
Chloe's husband is a fucking idiot.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Every time you buy the next level of goggles you'll keep all the previous features too. At first I wasn't sure how this worked too.

What problems there are exactly without the newest beta drivers? Atleast on my 780 everything looked good and was smooth (2560x1440 everything on ultra + FXAA, locked 60fps) without the drivers. That was only the first level tho, havent played that much.

Cheats. No way you can get that score with Assault, or on Normal difficulty for that matter.

Once you've bought a goggle upgrade it seems to be passive, i.e it remains active no matter which goggle you select from the list, the one you select is purely cosmetic.

Guys, playing the Reloaded release and my CPU is hitting 85c. This doesn't happen with any other game. Is this an issue with the crack or is it the game itself? I'm thinking of buying it but if it's the game that's doing it then that's a definite no.

Can't imagine how game would do that? By controlling your fan speed? Maybe this game uses 100% your cpu and thats why it is so hot. I think you should check your cpu cooling, maybe it is dusty or needs new paste.

This game uses quite a lot of CPU.
45-50% on my 2600k

Any other game I play is fine, play this and suddenly I'm getting alerts that the CPU is hitting 85c. Fan is fine and I clean the case out regularly. I need to see if it's staying at that temp or if it's just a fluke where it hits that once causing the warning to pop up. I only noticed it after I stopped playing last night.

Well it uses more CPU than these days average console ports, thats why you are getting higher temperatures. Other games are Crysis 3 and Metro LL, they are very nicely multithreaded.

You should be able to run a stress test like prime95 which will push your CPU to 100% and reach a stable temp. As far as i know this will work the CPU harder than any game.
As far as the game goes, it works ok on my 1920x1200 monitor, though on Ultra i got about 45fps in the area i was testing, shifting everything down to High gave me about 35fps, dunno why, keeping everything on Ultra but dropping shadows down a bit gives me 60fps. However i'd prefer to play on my TV, this is where it gets weird....
Fullscreen mode can not be selected, unless i have my monitor and TV in duplicate mode, it just says "unavailable" next to resolution if i'm using my TV as the main monitor, windowed mode runs great, but it limits me to a strange 1645x926, but after playing around i found there's also a "borderless" option which is a kind of pseudo fullscreen, which lets me play at 1080p, on my TV and at 60fps, though i have to be careful with experimenting with graphics settings, sometimes changing something will lock the game at 30fps until i restart. Once it's setup though it's a great experience.
This is with an HD7850 btw

this game is so much fun, i was hanging behind rail with two guards in the other side, and after few seconds, a dogy dog came to the scene, so i took, few steps back still hanging, and i was thinking: "that f***ing dog...i hope he will not sniff the rail and find me", and that was exactly what happend, the dog found me by the smell rofl..at least that what it looked like
this is best splinter cell so far for me (since i am more into action and less stealth and i can combine here nice gameplay for my taste)

Goddamn, retrying segments quite often made me a master in this game. I'm stalking like some ninja tazing and headshotting on the fly. It's a bit frustrating when you get detected and reload, but in some weird kinda way it's addicting. I think the game is quite challenging and the AI is pretty good (still clearly artificial and limited obviously). A very well made game (though I think the side missions do get stale).
