I just gave in and bought the game. I did the same with Deus Ex HR. Did not expect much, but pirated it anyway, then played it and enjoyed it so much I bought it.

You get fucked because you have to restart from checkpoint? Then play the fucking Grim missions and fuck up right before the end.....you will bash your cock I can tell you that! The checkpoints are wonderful and make it enjoyable.

Totally agree bro. I guess I got old because I am too tired to replay those missions over and over again from the beginning. Its super boring if you have found the pattern and you get fucked up just in the end of the mission so you have to kill the same guys using the same methods over and over again until you find the "trick" for the last part.

Today I've hit restart mission instead of checkpoint by mistake...

I've played a bit of SvM and as a veteran player of PT and CT SvM (probably around a thousand hours combined) I can say...meh. It's playable, but definately it's not what I've been waiting for. Now playing as a Merc I feel like a Marine from AvP, I'm the prey. Spies can taz you and then run up for a knife-kill. Mercs cannot defend at all after being tazed.

I did that twice last night on the second Kobin mission and the second time I did it I had to turn the game off or I would have broke something valuable. I sounded like Godmax, my poor neighbors.

Me too mate, you can try to turn on filter keys, disabling repeated keystrokes on windows, but i could only solve it by pluging in a gamepad, try it, the lag will be all gone.. ( i know i hate it too)

My game is stuttering like this guy's video:

I tried v sync, adaptive etc, everything, it just stutters when you look around, usualy v sync solves this, but it isnt working on this game..

Any ideas?

Btw i dont use sli, and it does this no matter the settings or if it is dx9 or dx11..

Regards

i got this too

Solved it only by pluging in a gamepad, and checking on options the gamepad option, cannot play this game with MOUSE + Keyboard or it will stutter like crazy..

Damn, that Chicago mission was pretty hard compared to the previous ones. I was getting my ass kicked cause I wanted to leave everyone untouched so I decided to start taking out key elements to facilitate my progress. Still got the Ghost mastering but took me like 70 mins Very Happy

Is there a way to do the rescue Kobin mission without killing anyone without the sleeping gas grenade? It seems like it's impossible to neutralize the three people in the interrogation room.

have you tried peeking through door>mark all 3 ( so you can see where they are) > throw smoke grenade > go in for the ko ?

loving the game so far, playing on perfectionist and ghost. A bit hard but it's fun Smile

I was speaking mostly about Classic mode, which I thought would be closer to the original ones than the others. But thanks for the info, didn't know that. How do you do it? Hit adrenaline after beeing tazed or when you're tazed while on the adrenaline you will still be able to shoot/strike?

That's not the one he's talking about. That first one you just lure them out one at a time. The second interrogation room is the one they're referring to. And you're locked in that room with limited options.

meh another ubisoft game that doesn't run 21:9, like nearly every game released nowadays supports the AR except for ubisoft Sad
funny thing is it works in their old games, AC2, revelations etc, they broke it in AC3, Convictions, and now Blacklist as well Sad

I'm guessing her other missions will be great too as they all require stealth.

Nah he doesn't cheat, he just likes to make videos with fast/clean runs and he's actually very fast learning the patterns and very good at stealth. Haven't you watched his Hitman Absolution videos?
