does dice care about pcs which are not capable of running the frostbite engine? nope! those excuses slow down the evolution. and its simply not true, my old q9550 is capable of running almost every game on max settings!

Your Q9550 would destroy the Jaguar CPU. The only difference is the 7790/7850-equivalent Radeon part of the APU. Anyone defending these kinds of bullshit excuses are just... Ever heard of scaling, EA?
my guess,is this: Fifa and Battlefield series not only have different developing team(same publisher doesn't equal to same philosophy),they are Targing different market audience,
my guess is PC fps fans known or at least assumed to invest more money on hardware, and less likely to play sport games, while Fifa Sports is more of the general, and includes less hardcore Gamers.
but of course they only my theory,I'm pretty sure it's all about what more "worthy"...
It has nothing to do with the average specs, its about how much more players there are on console compared to PC. Since they are working on two versions of the game I'm guessing they don't want to bother.

Can't blame them really, there going to go where the money is but they should do it for pc it would make a profit i would of thought/
Wonder how much it is to develop this on pc ?
If they dont break even on pc its ea after all they will not do it.
I might re try pes this year and buy fifa14 for ps4 as i pre ordered a ps4 the other day canny wait man but ffs dont let the game prices go nuts i aint paying 60 pounds for a game fuck that, not yet anyway!.
Ryzen 5 3600 cpu@3.60 Mhz.

Evga 600 psu.
Msi Armour rx 8 gb 5700 Graphic card.
Ps4 Standard 500gb.
Lg 4k 42 inch tv.
Oculus Quest 2.
Guess i won't be buying any more fifa games for another few years, quite the deja'vu.
Best thing is, they never bring any worthwhile new features to the older-engine versions. So guess it won't make a difference if one sticks with fifa 13 for 3 years or not. Except of course for new kits, new players and squad updates.
I don't really get EA, except for them nobody ever gave a shit about PC users that don't have sufficient rigs. Remember that non-EA game that was released in an older engine version on PC ? Yeah me neither.
The only instance where this excuse is justifiable is the other way around, like with for example Crysis and surely with Star Citizen aswell.
Especially now that everything is x86 - porting means adding graphic options ;< Big whoop.
Microsoft and Sony probably pay a lot of money or offer other deals, if big titles are offered exclusivly for the new gen consoles... makes sense, doesnt it. We have no control over that and 98% of all gamers will buy the new consoles with (and because of) those exclusive titles anyway.
basically its about the ignite engine and how it changes the ball physics and gameplay and slightly better gfx (personally its not a loss not to have a new crowd, a nice to have but no reason not to buy this if the gameplay is better then 13). all other features are included in the current gen versions too. as i said a thousand times, i do not expect the nextgen versions to be perfect (like the first 3-4 games on 360 and ps3)
Graphics are pretty ok but physics should be definitely much much better. Sometimes the ball feels like a stone and animations during driblings are so that ball looks like tied to player's leg(s).

I agree, FIFA 13 is still great fun, but even the animations/physics that were quite impressive 3-4 years ago (and still are to some extent) are definitely starting to show their age now, it's normal.
Having completely separate ball-related physics would be a great start for a new engine, then they can refine everything. But what do we know, we'll play our Fifa nextgen in 2016 in the most optimistic scenario
I'm only sure for Fifa 13, Nuuvem had a sell for $5 and it was multilanguage and you only needed a proxy to buy it. My guess is that its the same for Fifa 14, the only thing I'm not sure is if you get pre-order bonuses.
I actually do see a big improvement in the first touch and passing in that video. Still not worth a full price purchase, especially not on PC, which probably doesn't get any of the new features.
New engine on Xbone, that video, looks like a light modded FIFA 13. Expected alot more from the new engine. Now im really scared how the game will look&feel on PC without the new engine.
After watching that video (for 20 sec gameplay) looks like FIFA 14 is going to be FIFA 13 on PC.
Why only watch 20 sec gameplay? Because I can't stand watching a player that really plays like its the first time he ever touches a controller.
