So I started watching that Mass Effect animated movie... 2 minutes in and I'm already wincing at the worst, cheesiest dialogue ever... its so bad.
...but then some pure gold. pure FUCKING gold, 2 minutes 25 in...
There's this really nerdy wimpy looking young guy... you know, really slight build, kinda meek looking... some guy asks him if he's "ok"..
...and then Vega... that absurdly muscled ponce with zero personality that no one liked from Mass Effect 3 says "he's fine".. and then NO LIE, i swear, hand on my heart, walks up behind the skinny young dude, puts his hand on the guys ass (seriously, watch his hand disappear out of view behind the guys lower back!), making him jump, puts his mouth near his ear and says "he's just ready for some action"... then puts his lips even closer to his ear and whispers "aren't ya'..."
...and THEN he says "you see any sign of that tactical package yet?"
oh man.. how the fuck am I going to make it through this movie!! I'm not even 3 minutes in yet!!
I wish I was making this shit up, I really do...

Elysium - 7.5 / 10
It was a good movie...but it didn't impress as much as District 9. It felt like a cross between District 9 and Mass Effect or something to me. Action scenes as someone mentioned before are too fast/hectic, some of the actors were a bit hard to understand as well at times. CGI is nice tho. Overall solid sci-fi movie.

It was ok for most of the movie, but I'm wondering, is the jumping around to the flashbacks normal or a result of a badly cut movie? I mean, was my version just messed up or something? Hehe. It's hard to tell. |
sparks releases was nuked for chapters being out of order & other groups re'encoded the fucked up sparks versions without checking them . theres rerips of both sparks sd & hd 720p now & not sure if the 1080p was affected. |
I watched the santi BRRip. Is that one "broken"?

Santi does nothing but uses the scene release to rip it.

Which one is better? Gatsby or Pain and Gain?
I shall watch one of the two tonight.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

Now You See Me - 5/10
Eh, how entertaining are magic tricks when they are just a bunch of cgi :F Also some pretty shoddy storytelling, overall.

Now You See Me - 8/10 for entertainment until the last twist, and then 0/10 for the biggest bullshit twist of all twists. I mean it wasn't something smart like...The Usual Suspects, but was just thrown in there for the sake of twists. I would have to rewatch it to see if there is indication or hints throughout the movie if you pay a little more (or less) attention but yeah.

I agree, the cgi and the not explained "magic" tricks were the things which distracted me most. Make it full cgi tricks or make it belivable tricks(like prestige, despite the fact that the whole thing was built around scifi magic trick, but they made it look like it was real), but don't make it this half assed thing where you explain some tricks and make it look believable and same time there is some retarded flying magic cards.
At first i was confused about some scenes and the ending too, but that was fortunately the rip problem. I'm still not sure about the scene after the first credits tough, what was it supposed to show us ? that they'll make sequel ?
